As many of you here at FreeRepublic are aware, the Republican Establishment has continually repeated, one after the other, that the candidates chosen by WE THE PEOPLE are unelectable. Want proof? OK
here we go:
For example: Romney is the only candidate that can beat Obama or Romney is the only candidate that has the organization to take this all the way or Newt is unelectable or Cain is unelectable or Palin is unelectable or Newt has too much baggage or, you pick one.
Coulter continues with this is one of the surest means of making an idea enter the mind of crowds. Affirmation only works if it is constantly repeated and so far as possible in the same terms. She goes on to state that the power of repetition is due to the fact that the repeated statement is embedded in the long run in those profound regions of our unconscious selves in which the motives of actions are forged. Short slogans endlessly repeated create a current of opinion allowing the powerful mechanism of contagion to operate. (Gustave Le Bon, The Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind (Dover, 2002) (1895), 69.)
So, my conclusion is that the Republican Establishment, Coulter herself, as well as many of her fellow elitists, are utilizing those same tactics on WE THE PEOPLE! And a great many of WE THE PEOPLE are falling in line.
Just my opinion, want a piece of pie?
Coulter has sold her conscience (yes, assumption noted).
The Conservative cause has sloughed off many a summer soldier this winter.
Can have my pie after a shower ?

You are confusing Ann’s reasoning skills to Ann’s wanting a job skills after this election.
Ann used excellent reasoning and verbal skills when she wrote those book. When the paycheck issue comes in, and to continue to live the current lifestyle, one must change the current philosophy in order to maintain the current lifestyle.
That is just my opinion.
Yes. Used along with the bandwagon approach, the short slogan tends to lead to the smothering of logical rebuttals with showers of insults. But the same approach and associated tactics killed conservative motivation and took us away from truly conservative candidates long ago. If I don’t see a good voting record for a candidate, there’ll be no vote regardless of volume of rhetorical, subjective campaigning. As a matter of fact, more volume of such garbage is even more off-putting.
Become more self-sufficient and technically resourceful toward self-sufficiency. Starve the B. The “handyman” (e.g.s, thermal/fluid dynamics, hardening electronics against electromagnetic anomalies, security) will only work for himself for the next decade or two.
Have fun. Enjoy the slide.
What gives you or me any right to question the Ruling Class?? Did they grant us that right?? Debt Slaves have no right to question their rulers, just put those chains on a little tighter and it will be just fine.
Propaganda and brain washing only works on the communists, could never happen here. Right? Right? Right?
So...what rhymes with Obama? Trauma, llama, mamma, drama?
Trauma? Drama? Vote Obama.
Down with Barack-acy!!
"Affirmation, repetition, and contagion" does come from Le Bon's 19th century classic.
The idea has been around for a long time and used in advertising and propaganda for generations.
I can’t be critical.
I voted for Hillary last May as instructed by Rush, LOL.
