I know I won't vote for either Santorum or Romney in the primary.

Romney blows no doubt, but if it came down between him and Santorum, it's fair to say Romney would at least fare a better chance than Santorum at ousting our radical Kenyan infiltrator. No clue how Santorum is going to gain much traction beyond hardcore SoCons.

For me it is, I can't stand either one of them.

In the General I will vote straight GOP but in the primary, I will not choose between Romney and Santorum.

“It will be interesting to see how Santorums huge victory in Kansas affects the polls in Alabama and Mississippi.”

It can only help him. Everybody loves a winner!

But just wait till Californis when Newt and his loyal Newtereds finaly show em.Really,Im serious this time.Really

Thomas Sowell and other intellects believe Newt is the best hope we have. I'll gladly have those who can only mock others on one side and those who agree with Sowell on the other. Every time one of us resorts to mocking others for their difference of opinions, Saul Alinsky and Obama take up a little more room on FR. But alas, some folks find it easier to mock than debate.

For you it is simple, but your original comment was “Newt voters are not voting for Santorum.” My point was and is that all of the Newt supporters do not have the same priorities as you, any more than they have the same priorities as I.

Great quote by Burke.

Yes, I apologized for stating such in another post.

It was presumptuous on my part to do so.

I do, however, think, from the comments I see on FR, many feel as I do.

I hate to admit I now live in Kansas, born in Texas, lived many years in Idaho, and imported from Colorado. I’m sorry to say there are a great many stupid (heads up their butts) agricultural cowboys in Kansas. You can see that because they likewise elected Sibelius. To our credit, Obama stole her off to destroy our health care system. Kansas knows more about the KU scores than they do about presidential politics, and they just don’t care to become more intellectual about the world around them. As you can imagine, I don’t fit in with most of them, and most of my friends are here at FreeRepublic.

In my little caucus, 186 total, Santorum took 81, Mr. Newt took 54, Romney took 34, Paul took 13, and believe it or not, 4 uncommitted. Now, who bothers to go to a Caucus and comes out uncommitted? As I said, stupid!. Unfortunately, we cannot change stupid. Stupid is as stupid does, sounds familiar doesn’t it? Maybe the writer of that phrase was from Kansas. I am so disappointed in Kansas, I wish I could move, but my husband was born and raised here, and this is where we have our roots laid down. However, after watching this primary season, many of the other states have been just as stupid. Our electorate is all for themselves, and not for the Country.

There is no better candidate than Mr. Newt, and I am offended when I hear we have a weak field. We have two complete fakes who call themselves conservative, and one old nut job who no one asks to leave the race because they fear he will run as an Independent and actually take votes away from the republicans.

What more can I say? I just hope and pray Alabama and Mississippi are smarter than Kansas.
