Madonna SLAMMED By Deadmau5Stop ENCOURAGING Drug Use!

Madonna is under attack by one of the most famous DJs in the world ... who's PISSED at the Material Girl for glamorizing the use of ecstasy during a recent concert.

DJ Deadmau5 was clearly watching when Madge took the stage at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami this weekend and shouted to the crowd, "How many people in this crowd have seen molly?" (check out video below at :45 mark)

FYI -- "Molly" is a slang term for MDMA, one of the key ingredients in ecstasy ... a drug that's hugely popular with people in the electronic dance music community.

The Miami media breathlessly reported Madonna's "surprise" appearance at this music festival (she has a new album coming out tomorrow...).

BUT none of them seem to report Madonna's pro-illicit drug message. Strange, isn't it?

I mean, the media was damn quick to jump on Rush's case when he merely asked if Sandra Fluke was a slut...but Madonna giving a thumbs up to illegal drugs, well, that needs to be kept quiet...Madonna is a great singer, you know.

Props to the DJ...who I surmise is not a big conservative, for calling Madonna out on her endorsement of illegal drugs.

For an example of the Miami media's love for Madonna, go here: http://www.local10.com/entertainment/Madonna-makes-surprise-appearance-at-Ultra/-/1716846/9698470/-/3hubsiz/-/index.html

But it is rampant through all of Miami media; biased to the worst elements of society.

If it wasn’t for songs about drugs in the 70s, we’d have only had Barry Manilow on the radio.

Aren’t all the people at Madonna concerts in their fifties?

Just an FYI for all who may wonder.

Deadmou5 (Deadmouse) is a Canadian DJ/ but he is also a musician and talented programmer. He’s no ‘righty’, but he takes his music very seriously and has a history of mocking the industry for churning out pop princesses and garbage. While his music isn’t mainstream, he has a significant following and takes his ‘job’ to heart.

Ultra is the electronic version of Woodstock.

Madonna was there for PR and to make sales...any way she can. She tried being the club chick during the early 2000s too. Didn’t work then either. Electronic music is the next big thing and she’s trying to ride the wave. That’s all.

It is pronounced Dead-mouse, BTW.

Like it even matters......

He got the name from an incident where he was cleaning up his studio and found a dead mouse in a computer case.

The music boards he was/in on started calling him ‘that dead-mouse guy’ and it stuck.

“madge” was recently very heavily promoted by another hugely famous slut: citigroup.

Dude, it's not my type of music but the guy is highly talented. He actually understands electronics, programming, etc...

Good grief is my last refuge from the mediocrity of main stream music being invaded =(. First they make David Guetta 'top DJ' only because of his collaborations with the main stream pop world and all their rabid fans vote for him (when there are dozens of way more talented DJ's than him) and now this old hag wants to show up too =(

Well anyway good for Deadmau5 calling her out on it, I like a lot of his music and he is a local boy too.

Tid bit about his name, he once found a dead mouse in his PC, electrocuted itself or something...and thus the name was born ;)

Remember her ‘Ray of Light” vid? She’s been trying to destroy electronica for a while now.

I feel your pain ;) I’ve only been into dance/electronica for a couple years. It was my refuge from what the idiots did to Metal. But being on the musician/wannabee side, I can say that the record co’s are looking for ANYTHING to recoup their losses. It’s gotten so bad that even Disturbed (the successful Metal Group) called it quits.

The problem for the RCs is guys like Deadmau5, Skrillex and others who proved that they simply are not worth having around. They, in today’s internet age, are not needed.

Why give a RC 90+% of the profit when they can do it all without them? That upsets the ‘big boys’ bottom line so co-opting the heretofor untouched/ignored electronica world is a must for them.

If anything the RCs acted like a quality filter. But they exchanged profit for quality long, long ago. Now they are of no worth at all.

A teen-age girl who was caught smoking by photographers, at the age of 15.

I must admit that's one of the few songs of hers I actually like.

Deadmau5 epitomizes the right! He is his own man, with his own sound, and his own stage persona. He has made his own brand and success!

And, he cares more for today’s you than does mother Madonna....

Don’t get me wrong. I love his music! But from what I’ve read of his personal politics, he’s not a Reaganite by any stretch. His work ethic etc? Definitely.

If I’m wrong, I will be happy to be corrected as I WANT to have/see someone in that genre to be ‘one of us’ but from his interviews etc that I’ve read, it doesn’t look at all like he is.

I hate that song with a purple passion. Pure screeching to my ears. But to each their own ;)

Her early stuff I could sorta deal with. Most of it I just loathe just because I don’t see the ‘talent’. I just see marketing hype.

Oh didn't know that, I liked some of their stuff, down with the sickness of course being one. I listen to all kinds of music including electronica/trance for many years, so I hate to see it slowly getting co-opted by the mainstream.

But I don't think the RC's will succeed all the smart top DJs have their own labels, and its just such an independent group, well I hope not anyway =)
