I just turned on all my lights and started up the clothes dryer. Then I went went outside and checked the electric meter - spinning like mad!
My water heater is electric too. I think I'll run 50 or 60 gallons of hot water down the drain. The high usage might cost me a buck or too but it's well worth it.
