Sounds like you had a most wonderful Easter Sunday. I'm so glad to hear it!
Perhaps someday you'll get to play that Organ. :)
I'll say a special little prayer that it comes to pass!

That doesn't surprise me. Is there any instrument you
cant' play?
My Dad had a beautiful organ. He could play that thing with his feet moving a mile a minute. Me...I never learned. Sure wish I had!

Hope For A Mudder
April 9, 2012
When my husband built a covered porch on the front of our house, he anticipated that someday a bird might try to build a nest there. So he built the top of the corner post on a slant. Later we laughed smugly when we saw robins trying their best to claim squatting rights to a new home. Piles of grass on the porch revealed their wasted efforts. But after 2 days of steady rain, we saw that a nest had indeed appeared in the very spot we thought was impossible. Because of the rain, Mrs. Robin was able to mix up a batch of mud mortar. Weaving it with twigs and grass, our determined feathered friend had built herself a new nest. She had persevered.
Perseverance is inspiring! Trying to live a Christ-honoring life while experiencing hardship can leave us frustrated and discouraged. But when we depend on God to help us through our difficulties, we are empowered to keep going even when we cant always see the resolution of our problems. Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary while doing good and encourages us not to give up.
Is our loving God using a seemingly insurmountable challenge in your life to produce perseverance? Let Him produce in you character, and through character, hope (Rom. 5:3-4).
When trials intrude to slow down your life,
It would be easy for you to give in;
But by perseverance youll overcome strife,
So just keep on ploddingwith Christ you can win. Branon
When the world says, Give up, hope whispers, Try it one more time!

What we go through on earth will either break us or we learn to bend the spirit and survive...and then one glorious day we will have a new body, one free of pain and sorrows. I just have to get there.
Every one should check out an new RX before they take it to be aware of it’s side effects. And it takes going several pages into google to find the ‘real’ answers.
Don’t wait until they do, start reading on how to keep them low, cause even thin people have cholesterol issues. Eat more fresh foods, leave the processed stuff on the shelf. And remember fruits and certain veggies are CARBS/SUGARS, not just breads and potatoes, which drive the Tri count out the roof.
My BP was fine actually low, until the docs started this low sodium junk, then it went wild, never know when it will drop or spike now. If you feel faint and sick at stomach, it is a drop, tingling all over and it is a spike. I run a high pulse rate due to the Thyroid, always have.
Yes they are scary...I had the pharmacist print out the Crestor facts, and 40 mg is max dose for adults and seniors, doc ordered 80 mg for my husband..and it had some really bad side effects. I made him get off them and go back to his old cholesterol drug. Told him it was get off or I found another bed to sleep in. I could no longer take him jerking like electric shocks ever 10-15 seconds and shaking the whole bed, he did not even know he was doing it.
They add all 3 numbers up. Keep the HDL well over 50, the LDL about 100, and the Tris about that. Remember fruit and veggies count as carbs as well as breads turn into sugar in the body...thus running your Tris up.
What makes me so mad is they find all these things wrong, and won’t fix a one of them. All they want is PT, nerve blocks and pain pills, and side effect riddled drugs, all ineffective..0’care in action. Well that does not fix bulged discs full of bone spurs and compression fracture.
Waiting on my new body, and asking and claiming healing in the name of my Savior.

I finally got around to viewing the thread. Thank you all for the wonderful posts while I was away. The Good Friday thread was outstanding.
Meg, What can I say about the Easter Thread. We are blessed to have you here. I loved your butterfly replies.
We had a good 4 days away but it was hectic. The Internet connection at the Hotel was very slow and frustrating. They advertise hi-speed but I felt like I had regressed about 5 years. ;)
We spent several hours at the Jelly Belly store on Friday. We were in line for over 2 hours for the tour. We we got back to the room, I required a short nap before we went to dinner. On Saturday, we went to Napa for the wineries but spent most of the time in traffic.
Before leaving yesterday, JustJr hid eggs in our room and Marissa had an Easter Egg hunt.
It was good to get away but too little time.
I was so happy to hear that everyone had a beautiful Easter Sunday.
