We had lots of rain last night and again today. They issued a tornado warning but I haven’t heard of any sightings. The clouds have looked vicious. Lots of thunder and lightening.

We didn’t get any hail but there was probably some in the area.

Yep! Rained all night and morning...stopped for a bit then started again. We haven’t had any thunder or hail today but I see tomorrow is to bring both along with wind! UGH!

Read a tornado touched down in French Camp and a funnel cloud in Stockton. Couldn’t find any real info on them but pray it wasn’t serious.

A funnel cloud was spotted south of us but it didn’t touch down. The clouds were so dark that there was no problem seeing the lightening.

News reported there were 2 or 3 areas of large hail. I’m sure there was damage to some of the orchards and vineyards. Hopefully it wasn’t very widespread.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible over the San Joaquin
Valley... southern Sierra Nevada foothills and Kern County desert
areas on Friday afternoon as another strong low pressure system
moves through the area. Dangerous lightning... locally heavy
rain... gusty winds... hail and isolated tornadoes will be possible.

We usually leave the car out until after we pick up Marissa. Today we put it in the garage. Clouds and forecast were too scary.

Sounds pretty volatile. We’re getting some thunder but so far
only a few sprinkles of rain. Darn it!
