In Burma... British forces destroy the bridge at Ava after retreating north of the Irrawaddy Valley

Thanks for posting the link to our WWII +70 Years thread, Amy. Maybe somebody that hasn’t seen it before will pay a visit. The next month is going to be a crucial period of the war and the reading will be correspondingly interesting.
