Amber Alert for 3 DAY old Baby Boy Issued in Montgomery County Texas

The above child was kidnapped from his mother while leaving the pediatrician’s office at 25230 Burrough Park Dr, Spring, TX around 14:40 hrs. today. A black female shot the child’s Mother and took the baby. Some witnesses say a black male was also involved and was in the passenger seat when the shooter fled. The baby is wearing a green and white one piece outfit that snaps between the legs. Suspect took the child’s infant carrier but did not take the base of the carrier. Suspect was wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans and driving a light blue or sea green newer model Lexis, unknown license plate. Suspect was driving Southbound on Burrough Park towards I-45. Unknown direction of travel from there.

The child’s Mother was later pronounced dead at Hermann Memorial, The Woodlands, TX.

kidnapper is described as a Black woman, wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Deputies urge caution as she is armed with a small caliber handgun.

MOTHER DIES FROM INJURIES , BABY STILL MISSING

UPDATE 5:30 p.m. The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Kala Marie Schuchardt. The abducted 3-day-old boy’s name is Keegan Golden. UPDATE 5 p.m. The mother/shooting victim has died. An Amber Alert has been issued for the 3-day-old baby. More info. coming soon.

THE WOODLANDS (April 17, 2012)—An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday evening after a woman was shot to death and her 3-day-old son was taken by another woman outside a pediatric clinic near The Woodlands.

The incident happened at around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Lt. Dan Norris said the mother, identified as Kayla Marie Golden, 28, went to her pickup truck after a checkup and argued with a woman in a Lexus parked next to her truck.

The woman shot the mother repeatedly and took the baby.

The dying mother tried to reach into the Lexus for her child, but it sped away hitting her.

Norris says witnesses reported hearing as many as seven gunshots and that a man was in the woman’s car.

Norris said the driver’s side of the car is bloodstained, and the baby was last seen in a one-piece green-and-white outfit displaying the word “handsome.”

The infant, Keegan Schuchardt, is 20 inches tall and weighs 5 pounds.

He was born on Saturday.
