DALLAS - Dallas police on Wednesday issued an Amber Alert for Daisja Weaver after her pregnant mother reported that the infant was kidnapped from the family home about 12 hours earlier. The 20-year-old mother told officers that someone snatched her baby from the far North Dallas apartment in the 5800 block of Preston Oaks Road at about midnight. She said the man tried to sexually assault her and that she fought him off, police said.
