Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Sue the hell out of the teacher and the school. Demand a jury of parents with 6 year olds.
Then agree to forfeit all money, and all damages, and hold everyone harmless, if the teacher, principal and superintendent sit in front of the school, on camera, and shit themselves, and sit in their shit for 15 minutes, and then have the video go to YouTube.
These people are demonic.
hmmm...sounds familiar... but without the benefit of a trash bag to wrap up in.
Why are 6 year olds even taking these kinds of tests?
I hope the parents do not force that child to go back there - kids will taunt her for years...
If not homeschool - then I’d sue for enough for a private school -
That sounds like a plan.
Why do 6 year olds need to take a test anyway? Seriously, what’s the point?
More public school fun time.
Need to make sure they know about global warming and fisting. Can’t be too young to get them started on the road to disordered leftist indoctrination.
Try that trick during the SATs.
I know parents who refuse to send their children to public schools because of the NCLB testing hysteria.
It’s not worth it, really it isn’t.
What an unfortunate last name. The incident may be a teasing point for a very long time.
I wet my pants in Kindergarten while standing in front of the class during telling time. I also resisting using the bathroom when requested. That was 60 years ago. I got over the trauma almost immediately. But then my mother did not make a big deal of it.
As Wintertime observed, some schools are so bad, it’s better to have no education at all than to attend them.
The publik skoolz keep forgetting who is in charge and pays for this crap!
Can you imagine a worse thing for someone named SKIDMORE??
jeesh
Oh, puleeze. My dog figured out on her own that before getting into the car where she might not get a potty break at the right time, that it’s best to run and do her business before jumping into the car. Never had to tell her. Smart dog, not so smart parent of kindergartener.
I remember in nursery school that the nun refused to help me undo my overalls. Mean old biddy (young but biddy none the less) claimed her hands were cold. I ended up messing in my pants so the other nuns made me go the rest of the day in borrowed underwear and nothing else, not even my shirt. I’ll never forgive them for that and some dozen other wrongs.
I wet my pants when I was six because I was waiting for my brother and I didn’t know that I could go back into the school. I was very shy and never, ever wanted to get in trouble. That was 52 years ago and there is someone who remembers and brings it up at every reunion.
Actually - yes you can. Every time we leave for any significant drive, we make certain that our two girls go to the bathroom before we leave. It has been quite some time since we have had to make an "unscheduled" stop.
- Now, I realize that not all children have been taught to follow such direction, it IS possible for most children to learn to follow schedules.
And for those who want to lay all the blame on the school - if this was mandated standardized testing, then the school's hands are likely tied. As a former teacher who had to help administer such tests for several years - for many states, the regulations are so strict that if a child is allowed to leave the room for essential any reason, the school can get in big trouble, and the teacher actually lose his/her teacher license.
Any and all "breaks" required all test materials being taken up (ONLY between timed testing periods) and secured (lock and key), all students supervised while going on break/bathroom.
The insanity comes from states (and the Federal Government + the No Child Left Behind Fiasco) trying to "protect the integrity of standardized tests".
BUT - if this was not a state/Federal mandated test with such regulations - and this is actually a school policy - something needs to be investigated.
