Amen to your #906, Dear Amy.
A Few Years Ago 3 Half-Grown Pups Showed Up Here One Evening, but the Next Morning they were Gone,
And I've Thought about them Since then, Hoping they Found a Good Home.
They were So Cute and Lovable!
I'll Never Understand why People like that won't have their Adult Pets Spayed or Neutered,
If they don't Want Puppies.

ConservativeParty, your Post Echoes my Own Thoughts!!
We Use a 2-Lane Highway All the Way to a Big Town,
And there are 3 Areas where it Briefly becomes a Passing Lane.
90% of the Time on the Trip, we are Trapped behind a 'Slowee' who is Going about Turtle-Speed,
Until we come to the Passing Areas!
There, he Suddenly Grows Lead Feet that are Heavy on the Gas Pedal,
And we have to Speed Up 20-30 Miles an Hour to Pass him! :(
Their Actions are Unexplainable, Dangerous, and Bizarre, and Always Gripe me No End.
Thank Goodness I don't have to Drive there Everyday.

Me too, thankfully they are real stitches not staples which are even harder to remove. But there are a ton of them.
I wonder what a ball the size of 2.5 lbs of fat looks like?

Hi! That happens to me at this one particular stretch of highway all the time. No passing for miles, and slow guy in front goes slow....then we get to the 2 lane area and he speeds way up! Happens all the time. Funny thing is, I don’t think any of these drivers are trying to be wise guys, or rude, they just don’t realize that they change speeds dramatically when the 2 lanes become available.
On our Interstates (between Milwaukee and Madison) the dangerous “slow in the fast lane” driver who causes a back up of traffic, is my other peeve. This driver is just plain dangerous. Camps out in the fast lane doing less than the speed limit. Others pass that car in the right lane since slow guy won’t leave the fast lane.

On the Highway we use, the Speed Limit is 70, and a Lot of the Slow Drivers only go 45-55 Miles an Hour.
By the Time we've Traveled for a Half an Hour, a Train of Cars has Inevitably Developed,
With the Slow Driver as the "Engine," Lol, Leading a Tightly-Grouped Line of Unwilling Followers.
I've Seen Some of the Drivers that are Trapped behind the Slow Ones do Dangerous Things,
Like Trying to Pass them when they can't See if the the Way Ahead is Clear or not.
I Pray there are Never Any Wrecks on our Road. :(

Taking Risks
May 23, 2012
In his book Stuntman! My Car-Crashing, Plane-Jumping, Bone-Breaking, Death-Defying Hollywood Life, Hal Needham reflects on taking risks. Needham has slugged it out in fist fights, raced cars at high speed, walked on wings of airborne planes, fallen off horses, and has even been set on fire! He risked his life to entertain film audiences and to distinguish himself as a top Hollywood stuntman.
Paul and Barnabas were also men who have risked their lives (Acts 15:26). But their motivation was far different. Their goal was to exalt Christ through the preaching of the gospel. As a missionary in the Roman Empire, Paul faced hazards that resulted in shipwrecks, beatings, persecution, and imprisonmentjust to name a few (2 Cor. 11:22-30). But Paul was more than willing to take these risks to make Christ known.
Many believers take risks to spread Jesus good news. But fear of rejection causes others to remain silent. Have you been passively sitting on the sidelines ignoring opportunities to share the gospel? God has provided His Spirit to empower you (Acts 1:8) and His Word to make the message clear (Rom. 1:16). Ask God for the courage to speak up and witness for the Savior. Taking the risk will be well worth it.
Will you be bold in your witness
By giving lost sinners Gods Word?
Jesus will honor your service,
And sinners will surely be stirred. Bosch
The rewards of witnessing are well worth the risks.

When we see an unfortunate train of trapped drivers behind the oblivious Slow Guy,,,,we sing “I Love A Parade”....just the title part because that’s all we know.
