To answer your question number one: I would now say that for the majority the answer, as long as they received their freebies and "entitlements",would be yes. There are a few of us left that would prefer to live free, but, as the election results of 2008 demonestrated, there are now more grasshoppers than ants.

The answer to your question number two, in my opinion, will be yes, they will bow.

The election wasn’t really a true plebiscite. It was only those who bothered to go vote. McCain was rather underwhelming. So would Romney be, except that most of America is disgusted with Obama this time around.
