PRESCOTT, Ariz. - A big fire occurred at Whiskey Row in Prescott on Tuesday.
Three businesses were destroyed -- including the Bird Cage Saloon, leaving more than 30 people without jobs.

The buildings that were destroyed were built following the fire in 1900 that destroyed the whole block. This time response by several fire companies and 60 firefighters kept the entire block from going up in flames.
Oh No!...loved going there for the July 4th Rodeo. I remember the Bird Cage,which is amazing because I don’t remember much else.....never made it to the rodeo.

Wow, I’m sorry to hear this. It has been years since I’ve been in Prescott, but I have many fond memories of staying at the Hasayampa and walking down to Whiskey Row. I love the place.
