Perfect description of Mark Davis's on-air appearances: PABLUM.
I will take any of the other Rush subs any day (although nobody does it better than El Rushbo). But when I hear Davis' voice, the radio clicks OFF for three hours. He is unbearable.
What happened to Mark Belling subbing? He did a good job.

Didn't work. Generally I like Steyn and his humor if someone's going to sub for Rush.
We have had the good fortune of being able to listen to Rush most of his first hour since the early nineties, and never liked it as much when he was gone no matter who subbed for him.

Seems like it’s getting more and more like the “Not Rush” Show. I’ve scaled back because of all these pinch hitters. What’s up? Is Rush sick or in training for the PGA tour?

I hate to tell you, but I remember a while back (year or more) Rush’s guest host listener ratings and Davis was near the top. Milk toast works for a lot of folks.

Yeah, so was I. But unfortunately, the next word was "Davis". Where the heck is Rush today, anyway? I must have missed him saying that he would be out today. He usually lays that on us at the very end of the show on Friday, so he doesn't have to field complaints, I guess.

I think we need more evidence before we can say something so controversial as that. From what we know of his past, the only slim evidence that the President is straight is that first daughter.

Seems to me that Rush is sort of down to about a 4-day week on the average. I guess golf can really be addictive.
