ABC cancelled "Desperate Housewives," "Charlie's Angels," "Man Up," "Extreme Makeover," "Work It," "GCB,"...just so that abominable "Good Christian B*tches" - yeah, we know what GCB stands for - is gone - ABC got the message in only three episodes......

I don’t watch TV. Not interested. Too many other important things to do. I have a Bluray player and 3d capable TV for the occasional movie. No network or cable content.

I forgot to put “Alcatraz” on the list. Not only did I like it, but NONE of the core questions were answered.

Last time we bought a new TV, the “A-Team” and “Remington Steele” just came on the air and Michael Jackson just released “Thriller.” Still, it is nice to hook up my Blu-Ray to the old 1982 Zenith. B-)

Shot mostly in my hometown of Vancouver BC...Canada, not SF. It was created by Jj Abrams of LOST’ fame and he wanted it to be as ridiculous as LOST. I like the immortal angle of the prison and the most obvious actually hasn’t been answered either: who were the idiots who miscast the blond chick and the fat dude? Sam neill always is great in anything on screen and made it bearable..

Greatest thing to happen to TV. Getting rid of CSI Miami was a godsend. This program was so full of actors that couldn’t act it was hilarious. Not to mention all the overwhelming mistakes in police procedure that presented itself as legitimate police procedure. Also all the mistakes in sequential events (like radio calls that indicated two or more miscreants and when the police arrive, only one culprit on the scene and no explanation).

My wife and I watched it just to see who could pick out the most mistakes.

Thanks. I'll be fine without it. I have plenty to do without sitting my butt down for 3 hours a night to watch crap programmed by queers in Hollywood.

You may disagree with me, but I think a lot of art (and yes, some TV is art) was created by "queers" over the centuries. My bet is that most Freepers watch TV.

That's the main reason I never bothered even trying the show. LOST was the biggest, lamest con-job in TV history. I loved the first few seasons but it was mostly because the mystery had me going and it turns out mystery was just made-up crap. I probably won't ever watch a TV show by JJ Abrams again.

I loved it because it was so hilarious. And so overacted. And so randomly plotted. And for the over-the-top way David Caruso delivered his lines. It was funnier that most of the sitcoms, unintentionally but funny nevertheless. Oh, and the wide variety of stereotypes it managed to seize upon. The only thing it lacked was a Trouble with Tribbles episode. Nearly perfect as far as I am concerned, and I will continue to watch the reruns.

"As long as Supernatural is coming back for season 8..."

Completely agree on NCIS. Curtis just doesn’t “fit” in addition to being “so silly”.

"FIREFLY is between babylon 5 and farscape and stargate sg1 is 4th."

Nooooooooooo.......[insert buzzer here]. Firefly #1, NO doubt. Mops the floor with the others....and don't even talk about "Serenity" vs. the other 'sci-fi TV series-cum-movies'.

Not even close, and I loved B5. It takes a distant 2nd.

Dang...it has crossed my mind that they might do a “Bobby didn't die, he's in the shower” kind of thing.

I can't think of a good ending, but that might tick me off.

I don't watch a lot of tv, but made the exception this season with House, that I used to watch regularly.

but cancelled “Allen Gregory,”

A show so horrendously unfunny that it sucked the humor from the shows around it making them less funny too. It was like Al Franken that way.

Unfortunately I saw about 30 seconds of this show once. You seem to have liked it more than I did.

NCIS too. They could do without Jamie Lee Curtis...”

NCIS will be back in the fall as will CSI immediately following it. I agree about Jamie Lee - what is she doing on that program!! She’s evil. Wonder what happened to CSI New York. Really miss Gary Sinise and have watched his reruns hundreds of times.

I’ve been a fan of Supernatural since day one. Just when you thought they jumped the shark, the last season really stepped up.

Person of Interest is the best new show of the season on any network, IMHO.

I just don’t worry about who makes TV shows. I don’t even think about it. But when someone frets about “queers” making TV, it makes me wonder why? I am friends with a conservative Hollywood producer who is involved with many TV projects. He is not gay and his productions have nothing to do with the gay lifestyle. Good, wholesome TV shows are out there. You just need to look for them, instead of turning off your TV.

I had every episode (downloaded) until the last one season and my hunch was right, the ending sucked big time. No matter how many times someone explained the ‘deep meaning’ of the ending to me.

The only line I ever liked from that series was when Ford (Sawyer) and Kate were playing that “I never” game and Sawyer says “I never voted democrat”.
