Will be missing Terra Nova. They shouldn’t have spent so much time on character development and just jumped right to the dinosaurs shredding people. The T-Rex transport toward the end of the season was awesome!

Did you ever watch the BBC produced program Primeval? Primeval follows a team of scientists tasked with investigating the appearance of temporal anomalies across Great Britain through which prehistoric and futuristic creatures enter the present. I started watching it when it was aired on the SyFy Channel. It ran for three seasons then the BBC cancelled it because it was too expensive to produce. The series ended with two of the scientists stranded in the Jurassic Period. Two years passed before it was picked up by ITV, and they produced another two seasons that I managed to get via UK torrent websites. I understand that there is a spinoff series being produced in Canada, and Wikipedia says that production on a movie has also begun. The guys who worked on the original series were the same folks who produced "Walking with Dinosaurs."

The problem with Terra Nova was that they developed it to be a show that Grandma could watch with her 8-year old grandson. The scripting was something that a 15-year old kid would write and there were barely one single twist per show (unlike Lost which typically had fifteen twists in a one-hour piece).

I suspect that by the fifth episode...the crew knew it was a loser and just accepted it.
