Something To Ponder Over; A "Walker/Rubio" 2016 Ticket.

Posted on 05/31/2012 4:01:37 PM PDT by Reality_News

Can We Say "Yahh, That's The Ticket"? It's too bad that's not the ticket now. A Walker/Rubio ticket would make the 2010 elections seem miniscule compared to the results of November 2012. An easy 60/40 wipe-out. Next week Scott Walker will be the most famous man in America and Obama will be beyond old news. After Walker wins, many conservatives will be saying, Obama? Obama who?

Rubio is NOT a Natural Born Citizen. His parents were not US citizens at the time of his birth. He can't legally serve as president.

I like him but he is ineligible and we've got one of those in the white house now.

What if Romnay wins in November? Are you discounting him running for re-election in 2016?

Wont happen if Romney is the nominee this time and wins the Presidency. If you want that ticket in ‘16, you would have to work against Romney.

The choice appears to be 4 years of Obama, or 8 years of Obama lite.

If President Mittens turns out the way many here expect, he should be more than ripe for a primary challenge. Walker and / or Rubio would likely be in a position to do it.

I think Romney will retire after 2016 and his VP will be the next in line.Whether its Portman,Rubio or Ryan, odds are they will run in 2016,and yes, its too early to predict anything,,remember when the baffoons at msnbc had already nominated Palin for 2012 in 2008?

I would rather stick with natural born citizens and opponents of amnesty for illegals, thanks.

"Can We Say "Yahh, That's The Ticket"?"

No.

I'm not voting for another president unless and until I can vote for Sarah Palin.

Period.

According to a 2011 Congressional Research Service report, Rubio is a natural born citizen and therefore eligible for the presidency. It stated: The weight of legal and historical authority indicates that the term “natural born” citizen would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship “by birth” or “at birth,” either by being born “in” the United States and under its jurisdiction, even those born to alien parents; by being born abroad to U.S. citizen-parents; or by being born in other situations meeting legal requirements for U.S. citizenship “at birth.” Such term, however, would not include a person who was not a U.S. citizen by birth or at birth, and who was thus born an “alien” required to go through the legal process of “naturalization” to become a U.S. citizen.[1]

Walker, YES. He’s the bravest conservative politician in America today.

Rubio — no way. Whatever conservative credentials he may offer, on immigration he’s “an amnesty man”. And his qualifications to be president are questionable, even -more- questionable than are Obama’s.

Try again.

"According to a 2011 Congressional Research Service report"

That's Hilarious! I'm sure that report also shows that vote fraud is not a problem!

Brought to you by the same group of people that recently had to pass a law to stop themselves from rampant and highly illegal insider stock deals. This same group exempts themselves from nearly every law that they pass on the masses. So yes I'm sure a 2011 congressional report was generated to try to convince the American people and more importantly our military that Obama is somehow eligible to be commander in chief. What a Joke.

Obama is not a natural born citizen and neither is Rubio.

I have no objection to your dismissal of that report, but be that as it may, the constitution doesn’t define “natural born citizen,” it merely states it.

I thought you were being sarcastic with the report but I see what you mean.

For hundreds of years there has never been any doubt about the definition of a NBC but now we have Obama and many are attempting to redefine the obvious. The framers did not define NBC in the constitution just as they did not define MANY terms used in the document. They did this because the definition was never in dispute, it was understood.

We the people can continue to play this game until we have no constitution at all, until we live in complete tyranny of those who can arbitrarily determine the definition of anything. Just keep questioning what the meaning of is is and see what happens.
