I wasn’t on FB today but I’ll check it out tomorrow!
I think we all feel the same about the O! All we have
to do is vote him out if we try harder than anything in
our lives. WE MUST VOTE HIM OUT BEFORE WE ARE
COMPLETELY SOCIALISTIC!

Henri knew something was wrong. She said he went around the house howling when they got home. Very strange behavior, but animals sometimes sense when things are out of whack.

I’m going to turn in for the night too. What a stressful day.

Here’s a good scripture for us.

“Be still and know I am God.”

(hugs)

Yes we must! I wonder if the little lemming libs’ heads will
explode when they find out they’ll be paying *gasp* taxes instead
of having free everything!

Or...will the ones of us who are NOW paying taxes be the one
to foot the bill for the freeloaders! GRRRR!

YAY! JC is here!

NOW, we need to encourage everyone we know - to VOTE in November.

I think this may be Obama's achille's heel! We are all so upset, we will SURELY go to the polls (and encourage EVERYONE to do the same!)

Buh-Bye, Obummer! Hope we never see you again. (It won't be in HEAVEN, for sure!)

Help Is On The Way!

June 29, 2012

When 33 miners were trapped in a Chilean mine deep under the earth’s surface, I wonder if they felt totally lost and doomed to a slow and painful death. Imagine how they must have been filled with joy when they got a message from above that the rescue team knew exactly where they were and that the process of getting them out had already begun!

There are times in all of our lives when we feel like we’re stuck in a really bad place. Anxious and alone, we despair that we are out of options and that no one understands where we really are in life. But in such moments we need to remember God’s comforting words to the early Christians who were stuck in a world where Satan’s presence dominated all that was around them: “I know . . . where you dwell” (Rev. 2:13). Their situation had not escaped the heavenly Father’s notice. And as they were faithful to Him, He would sustain them until He rescued them and brought them safely home (v.17).

The fact that God knows where you are and that He is very much aware of the difficult situation you are in provides the confidence and strength needed to live for His glory. So be encouraged. Remember God’s words of comfort. Help is on the way!

For further study read Where Can We Find Comfort?

You know the struggles that we face, Lord.
You know just what we need to endure them.
Give us the confidence to trust You because of Your
goodness and to walk by faith. Amen.
Our greatest hope here below is help from God above.

I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. —Revelation 2:13

Good Morning !

Still numb from yesterday. But still on the right side of the dirt.

Evidently I am still crabby.

No end in sight of these 90 degree days. Chance of rain late tonight. I hope so, my lawn is brown and crunchy.

Thank you for the kind words. Good to know you are reading them.

Let us keep the faith.

No rain in West Texas. Our water reservoirs are 6%, 15.4%, and 2%, which is scary. the pipe line from the Winkler County water fields will not be in operation until next Summer 2013. We are in serious water rationing. It will take a miracle from God to have the reservoirs last long enough for the pipeline to be operational.

Many are getting water wells drilled in their yard, which is good ... only there is a limited amount of water in the ground and with many, many using it and it not having recharging source, ... only God knows how long they will last..

Prayers have been going up for a generous rain for almost two years. Scary. Our son lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and they have have major flooding there. A stalled hurricane (Debby).

We are on the edge of a desert, but the usual rain is 12 to 14 inches a year. We had less than one inch all of last year and one short lived shower this April. Less than 1/2 inch. Everything is burning up and many many trees dying. Sad! If it continues no one will want to live here. Property values will plummet.

How are things with you?

God bless us everyone!

Geo, we are facing a drought in the high desert of AZ, too! Trees are dying in our forests, and dry lightening threatens us with fire.

I lived in Midland for many years, and it was always very dry. Prayers for your situation will continue.

My Brand New Favorite Place

I was wandering around the house
Deciding whether or not to pounce
On plotting Dust Bunnies under the couch
Or the limp and idle Red Rubber Mouse

When something very odd caught my eye
A stream of colors way up high
All the colors of nature and sky
Above the Pretty One's favorite Dinner Chair

So I padded over, steeled myself and leapt
Straight up as my claws splayed, dug and kept
Me from falling as I wiggled as my claws dug in and pulled
To catch my breath beneath the eerie band of jewels

Another strong leap and I landed flat
On a slick and shiny white hardness that
Gave my well spread out claws almost no traction
As I slowly stood and inched closer in fractions

A stream of light filled the round glass Thing
Throwing colors round the room in a delightful ring
When I dipped a paw inside, a smile appeared on my face
Because I knew I'd found My Brand New Favorite Place

It was just big enough for me to curl up inside
The smooth glass lusciously warm as I flexed and sighed
As some of the colors disappeared before I closed my eyes
Then the Pretty One woke me with a smile she couldn't hide

She hasn't moved my Favorite Place since that expedition
And I gladly overlook that sin of omission
I've grown too big to slip and curl around inside
So, I just curl around and cuddle it close with pride!
