Romney has the money, the connections, the campaign staff....he's the pub candidate...

if you don't vote for him, then you're voting for bamey and holder and roberts....

its on you....and those like you...

oh, and when you find that perfect candidate, let us know...because as far as I know, there are no perfect candidates....

not to choose IS to choose and it sounds like you are choosing bamey/holder/roberts....thx for nothing..

Exactly.

And I bet a good chunk of the people who are not going to vote for Romney are the same folks who wouldn’t vote for McCain and are now belly aching about todays SC decision. Who got to appoint Sotomayer and Kagan? Elections have consequences and we’re dealing with them now. Vote or stop complaining.

I’m NOT thrilled with Mittens but I’m horrified by our lawless so-called president. I donated $25 today at this web site: https://www.mittromney.com/donate/bus-tour . They are raffling off chances to be on Mittens’ tour bus for a day. I would luuuuuuuuuuv to be on that bus and have the chance to bend his ear about a couple of things! Even if only for a minute.

I hope other Freepers will also enter the drawing to maximize our chances of getting a Freeper onboard the bus. (Though we would need to be gentle: his head might just explode if he hears the unvarnished truth!) You can also enter the drawing without paying by going here: http://www.mittromney.com/forms/bus-tour?utm_medium=email&utm_source=et&utm_content=text_body_https%3a%2f%2fwww.mittromney.com%2fforms%2fbus-tour&utm_campaign=1386176_231278_Mitt%20Romney

I wasn't paying too much attention to Politics back in 1992 and I Voted Perot. I have regretted that Vote, (the only time I ever didn't Vote Republican), for the last 20 years.

When I see others here saying they will Vote Third Party or write in their Dog, I think back to what got us Clinton.

I supported Gingrich in the Primary but that didn't work out too well. Before today it was Romney or the Commie, now it's Romney or the Republic.

I think back to what got us Clinton.

What got us Clinton was Mr. "Read My Lips" raising taxes, and looking at his watch during the debates.

Actually, that got us Perot which got us Clinton.

Without Perot (and Idiots like me Voting for him), Bush would have beaten Clinton by 10 points, irregardless of grocery store scanners and checking wristwatches.

There are more of us on FR than I expected when I first started compiling a list of the FReepers who have woken up to the futility and danger of fulfilling Einstein's definition of insanity, which is exactly what ABO is. I expected to find maybe 60 or so FReepers with the courage to follow their common sense instead of supporting a guy that their entire gut and soul tell them is bad crap. I mean, READ some of the posts on here! People loathe Romney and the're still sending him money and worse, on the verge of consenting to his governing philosophy by giving him their precious votes! It is absolutly nuts.

They are letting unchallenged fear manipulate them into voting against their own interests.

Anyway, that list, over the course of a week or two of keeping track (and aphabetizing, so no duplicates) the FReepers who understand that Romney crosses the line, is a bridge too far on about a dozen levels, is now nearly 150 FReepers and includes the blessed founder and owner of Free Republic. We are more than twice as numerous as I had expected. I hope more and more people wake up and join us in time to avoid a very dangerous, conservative-killing Romney landslide. ABO would become irrelevant six months into 2013 as Romney claimed a popular mandate for his "progressive style of governing," and ABOers who meant only to vote "against" Obama would learn that the only thing that counts is what you vote FOR. A Romney landslide would be a very bad thing indeed for America's future.

I'm voting FOR a plurality and praying for one, too.

Don't look now, cherry, but griping about DADT is silly if you're going to vote for Romney, who is on record saying that he believes strongly that homosexuals should be able to serve "openly" in the military, not to mention that homosexuals "who love each other" should be able to adopt children, which translates into forcing adoption agencies to cooperate. It certainly did under Romney in Massachusetts with the result of causing adoption agencies to close shop rather than comply with accomodating depravity at the expense of innocent children.

And you have the gall to tell other people here they should be "ashamed" for refusing to sanction and empower this monster? Who is it, exactly, who should be ashamed, cherry?

And by the way, why don't you tell the founder and owner of Free Republic, that he should be ashamed of himself. Go ahead -- it would be consistent with what you're telling other folks here on the site you obviously enjoy, even though the guy who created it and allows you to be here should be ashamed of himself for "voting to enslave this country" by refusing to vote for the fraud Romney.

Speaking of frauds ... looked in the mirror lately, cherry?

The REAL battleground of 2012 will be the Senate. We need to take it back. These conservative candidates for the US Senate could really use some help.

A good first step would be to follow on Twitter & support them:

@tedcruz, @richardmourdock, @DebFischer2012, @sarah_steelman, @JoshMandelOhio. @TeamHoekstra, @Rehberg2012, @RickBergND, @Neumann4WI & @georgeallenva .

Also @SarahPAC .

By this morning, the total raised since the illegal ruling, has risen to 4.2 million. I hope the dems are crapping themselves. Obummer can’t even pay for his convention of crap weasels. He will be defeated and so will more dems in the House and Senate than in 2010. These effers are going down in a TKO.

Great, for a moment there I thought you were going to tear me a new one, as they say.

He is flawed for sure, no question about it, but what other choice have we?

The Heritage Foundation, Rush, Sarah,Scott Walker etc etc, are going to support the GOP nominee.

What purpose could be served by staying home or voting third party.

I suppose if a person lived in California, NY or Mass, would not matter.

The Republic is dead. Might as well start calling O “Emperor”.

And it looks like we’ll have to wait another 20 years before the Jedi return.

Same tired old false rationale to justify voting for a candidate you know is an amoral statist authoritarian who will move the Republican party left and make liberalism stronger in both parties. There is mathematically, materially, and effectively, only ONE way -- ONE WAY -- to vote for any candidate, and that's to mark that candidate's name on your ballot.

Or are you among the sadly confused and desperately self-deceiving folks who actually argue (as I have seen them do here on FR) that a Democrat who voted last time for Obama but will vote third party this time, is still voting for Obama?

Keep telling yourself the lie that "if you don't vote for Romney it's the same as a vote for Obama," but it is still a falsehood based on a combination of anger and entitlement thinking. There's only ONE WAY to vote for Obama, and that's to mark your ballot for him.
