I vote yes, everyone should be able to carry.
Why do they continue to ask this stupid question.
Maaan, now I don't know which way to vote.
Their question needs to be more specific, but considering the source, I think I know which way they are leaning on "change".
excellent
the Swiss law
Seconded.
No 67.3%
Congress should immediately draft legislation making illegal to break in to a movie theater and shooting the patrons. Some extra strong wording should curb this type of behavior./sarc
Yup, it's a trick question.
That's why I clarified why I was voting yes.
What a silly, silly question.
Was someone else able to shoot the shootist?
So now the WSJ has gone full leftist with this stupid pathetic question/poll.
I guess I’ll cross them off my list of reading material.
Yes, I should be able to carry across state lines.
You beat me to it. The only real effect of gun control is that it gives criminals the peace of mind of knowing that their victims will not be able to shoot back.
No one ever goes on a shooting rampage at a gun store, a gun show or a shooting range. These psychos always pick locations where they know that everyone else is likely to be unarmed.
Every time an insane man shoots or kills a prominent person or a large number of ordinary Americans the gun-grabbers pounce. As if even more gun laws would prevent such acts. Chicago is becoming the murder capitol of the U.S. yet there are few calls for more gun laws there because the city already has ‘tough’ restrictions on gun ownership and the populace knows full well that the gang members responsible for most of the recent killings don’t obtain their guns legally and laugh at gun laws. You would think that by now, most people understand that killers aren’t deterred by reams of restrictions on gun ownership that attempt to circumvent the Second Amendment. Considering the results on the WSJ poll, perhaps they do.
Should emotional turmoil be used to overturn basic human rights?
Well..uh, duh!
“Colorado allows people to possess a handgun in a dwelling, place of business, or automobile. But they cannot carry the weapon concealed while transporting it into your home, business, hotel room, etc.
CANNOT carry the weapon concealed while transporting it into your home, business, hotel room, etc.
So yes, it needs to change.
It needs to change so that CCW is valid everywhere.
But the “Poll” is so poorly worded I could not answer it.
if someone in the theater had been armed then, maybe, the perp would be dead and the others alive.
