His behavior doesn't add up.. His behavior already reveals stark inconsistencies that question the mainstream explanation of events. For example, he opened fire on innocent people but then calmly surrendered to police without resistance. This is not consistent with the idea of "killing everyone."
Furthermore, he then admitted to police that his apartment was booby-trapped with explosives. If you were really an evil-minded Joker trying to kill people (including cops), why would you warn them about the booby trap in advance? It doesn't add up.

He came in from behind the theatre building through the fire exit of theatre 9 and started shooting. There may have been people who thought it odd, but the shooting started immediately upon entry.

Wrong - the referenced story by Miller “The Dark Knight Returns” that has been making the rounds from the late 80’s was not a joker scene but from a book that related Gotham years after Batman had retired. The scene depicts a man in a porn theater driven to act out his paranoid schiz mind on the crowd. The last panel of the page is the news attempting to tie him to Batman in some way to deflect the downfall of Gotham since Batman left the scene. No Joker.
It’s a reach by a number of people to co-opt the comic form (because of the recent explosion of movies - since hollywood has no original ideas) to explain the idiot similar to the attempt to tie video games or rock music to the ills that avail us at one time or another.

The Rabin assassination right when the Likud was taking over was very strange. The perp shot at the chest and yet bullet wound entered the back. The ambulance also made a stop on the way. Some say the suspect only had blanks and had the thing preloaded and was made to believe he killed Rabin.

I had a friend in HS/college that was brilliant, a great athlete and loved by everyone. He was on the fast track to med school.
By the age of 23 he was homeless and off the wall crazy. He wasn’t a druggie, far from it. My friends and I were blown away by the changes in him. Schizophrenia is not kind.
Thankfully, when I saw him last he is married and in a stable relationship. Looked like a washed-up old hippie but is maintaining. I pray for God to keep him sane and watch over him and his family.

F & F. When I heard ∅™ had canceled his events and returning to DC, that is the first thing I thought of: Damage Control if it turned out to be the case.
Canceling events is one thing. But returning to DC when he has all the tech to keep him advised right where he is at is another.
One thing is for sure, it seems the media has plenty of stories pre-written before such acts are committed. And then they stage the attacks on the Tparty and guns, of course.
What is interesting is that this attack targets a powerful money making movie company’s batman debut. That is like so strategically placed to make powerful money men influenced against guns.
The gun business was the only thing going aside from entertainment and porn in this economy.

Any 3rd rate novelist with half an imagination could dream this up. Why would one need law enforcement or military background????
If you want to be a mass-murderer, there are thousands of ways to do it, and you certainly don't need military or law enforcement training to think it up.
I know a liberal friend who is obsessed with the Batman “Revenge” theme. His whole bedroom’s previous displays have been completely replaced with themes of revenge and Batman. It was very creepy. Now he is upset his character or his theme looks bad because of that massacre... wow.
From first reading about the shooting this morning, my “this ain’t right meter” pegged to the furthest ain’t right. Notice the entire media is consumed with this story, anti-gun nuts are out in full force, right as the UN small arms treaty BS. Bllomberg, MR. Anti Gun asking Obama and Romney what they are going to do.

Well said. Schizophrenia is a horrible and devastating disease to both the sufferer and their families and I do believe that it is a disease.
When someone is diagnosed with cancer, we feel sympathy for them and their families. But when someone has a legitimate medical mental illness like schizophrenia, we too often blame the sufferer or their families. Families are often caught in a very bad situation; they want to help, even if that means involuntary commitment and forced medications but current laws prevent such. Until a schizophrenic actually presents a very real and present danger to themselves or other or commits a heinous crime, sadly, very little can be done unless they voluntarily agree to treatment – and for someone in a paranoid state, the very last thing they will agree to is treatment, confinement or medication.
I’m glad that your friend is leading a somewhat normal life.
So the guy can only get minimum wage jobs and has student loan debt, but somehow can afford to continue on in a PhD program, has a car, apartment, 2 glocks (about $550 each), an AR-15 with a drum mag and an eotech sight ($2000), a Remington Shotgun (not sure on this one, but probably about $700), body armor tear gas, and a gas mask (not sure on these either, but definately not cheap.
.... read this on another site but it raises some questions. It is said his family is well off so maybe they were funding him, who knows.
Do we know the shooter indeed was schizophrenic?
