Herbs love wheat beer and so do Christmas cacti. I know from experience.

If I'm at a friend's house and they're being sociable (and I'm not driving), I drink whatever the hell they have and be gracious and grateful.

I NEVER drink & drive . . .

.

.

That's what traffic lights are for.

Widmer from the tap is how I first had a wheat beer. Good stuff, not my favorite style, but it is nice esp on a hot summer day.

I’m not a fan of wheat beers in general but Anderson Valley Brewing (NorCal) makes a good one. Tastes great even without lemon.

I happened to buy it without looking closely at the label, otherwise I’d have seen “Wheat Beer” and put it back on the shelf.

I’ve always imagined the act of utter desperation that led to someone discovering that week old gruel could kill you but sometimes gave you a buzz.
