Oh, aren’t we a piece of smug Frenchy work. If you bothered to look in the dictionary, the accepted usage of the word is largely with no space, go look it up.

It is true, however, in your Frenchy-fluent dialect that the word’s origins come from the Frenchy A propos.....big frigging deal - I guess you think we all speak proper Frenchy here, huh?

I guess everyone like you who is applying to VA Tech (some of us here, graduated from more prestigious schools - get back to me when you’ve graduated - if you can) and speaks fluent Frenchy has a leg up on guns and gun knowledge because of the valiant Frenchy battle records?

You have no idea about what anyone here knows about guns and how long they’ve been using them. I’m not ‘little’ and I’m not as young as you apparently have proved you are.

The rest of your comments are worthless to respond to because you are just basically a mean person who doesn’t like to be contradicted. I gave you valid reasons why I responded to the questions asked and their conditions. You chose to go pre-college know-it-all on me because I reminded you of that and called some of your comments about gunsmiths, etc. cryptic.....just a nasty person.

Well, I'm not French, I am from the American South, and am not a "dual" citizen. I am an American, only. I too went to fancy schools, and as far as undergrad (long ago) is concerned, it is fair to say "the best," though it was of course in the North. Perhaps we were classmates. We are essentially brothers in our aims on this forum and it is silly to unzip and whip out our diplomas which are ultimately expensive paper in the grand scheme. I am not a mean person, and I am genuinely sorry if I offended you. My quick and aggressive response was insensitive.

I suppose I just have had, and heard of, some VERY bad experiences with used and screwed up guns, including the arrest and endless detention of a friend on a funky serial number, and even had a measly pawnshop .22lr "blow up" in my face, which I never would have believed. I am also extremely biased against big-game hunters who want semi-autos because I feel, in my heart, that if one doesn't have a sure drop shot, one shouldn't take it.
