That’s great, he can respond the way GWB always responded to that crap... “That’s up to Missouri to decide.”

Is the deadline 5 p.m Eastern or 5 p.m. Central time?

I would have just condemned his stupid remarks. I am not sure how an open call for his resignation helps.

It’s not local. It’s been all over the national media.

Not even Romney wants Claire in the Senate. That is what this is about. Sending Claire back to her nursing home empire so she can distribute big pharma pills for old American grandmothers instead of approving surgical procedures under that Obama care legislation she voted to have installed.... A big whopping tax increase. H E L L O!!!!! Principles are grand but useless IF you do not win the election.

Oh for the record I am no fan of Romeny. I want Claire replaced.

Well according to Missouri law, he’s got 36 minutes, as of this post....

Isn't Missouri on Daylight Savings time as well? Because according to my clock, it should only be about 3:30 in MO, and he has until 5 PM.

It’s hardly “local drivel” when it significantly affects not only the chances of taking the Senate but of kicking Obama out. I’d say just the opposite. Every pressure by EVERY Republican/Conservative in the nation should be brought to bear on this unbelievable clownboy.

'Cause it ain't a Missouri issue. It can effect the balance of power in the Senate. It effects whether or no Obamacare can be repealed. It's something that every Republican on every ballot in every state is going to be slimed with.

The guy is stupid and arrogant and stubborn for having not pulled his name off the ballot already. He can save face for about another hour and a half yet. After that he's a pariah; radioactive to Republicans and useful to Democrats as a caricature.

1) I thought it was 5 PM deadline.

2) That’s just to get out cost-free. He still has time if the Party or somebody is willing to foot the bill to reprint the ballots. 9/26 or something. After that it will take a court order, and the SoS is a Carnahan.

Note to Republicans. You are not lowlife, commie ‘RAT liberals. You don’t get a free pass. Keep your mouths shut and don’t say anything stupid. If Rimshot Joe Biden had said this it would have been no big deal. The commie ‘RAT libs in Barry’s state run “media” would be saying that Rimshot, or any other commie ‘RAT, was being “taken out of context” and that would be the end of it.

Then you ought to do what you can to get Sarah Steelman on the ballot, especially for roughly about the next hour or so.

"You know, I’m not defending Akin, but Romney is really lowering himself getting involved with this local drivel."

Control of the US Senate and firing up the Democrat fake War on Women campaign isn't drivel. Akin is going to cost the GOP dearly and as more reports of him receiving aid through Claire MaCaskill funded advertisements and calling for him to stay in the race, it begins to look like he is working for his real paymaster. He is now cut off from any national GOP or PAC money. Missouri Senator Blunt along with several former Senators have called for him to step down. His campaign is now purely destructive and will help Harry Reid hold the Senate and will endanger other GOP candidates.

Ohhh — for a minute I thought Romney said that he was exiting the race for the good of the country so that we can get rid of Romneycare, er Obamacare. Heart be still —

Akin must go. He will be tied around the necks of every Rep running in Nov. The Dems will make certain of that.

Nonsense, it is local. Someone who wants to be president need not comment on every issue in the news. Let Michael Steele or whoever the RNC head is these days, do that work. Sorry, but it is beneath the presidency (at least all of them before this one).

If a candidate signed legislation banning firearms based upon what they are called, or looked like, I would call on THEM to exit the race..... (wonder who might have done that)

Mitt flings himself on a grenade not because he’s brave but because he’s too stupid to know better.

Let the guy win or lose on his own but attaching the whole party to the issue was an incredibly stupid move on the part of the GOP.
