I occasionally post comments at the Politico website and make an equal number of freinds and enemies, which keeps it interesting. Now here's the rub: I am notified via my facebook account whenever there are replies to my comments. Each and every time I click back onto the article to see those replies there is a "webpage cannot be displayed" message where the comments on the article should appear. Today I hit the refresh button on the article and got attacked by a virus. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this when duking it out on politico. Is there something wrong with their website's security?
Are you logged in?
If it’s really a virus, then you probably had it before you went to Politico. There are some cases where viruses spread through normally safe websites, but these are rare, and usually caused by something in an ad that is served up on that page by from an outside company.
Common sense should tell us not to trust Facebook and Politico.
