Psychological warfare! Just carry a notebook and discretely make notes on who says what when. You will be noticed, whether discrete or not. Then, you'll be living in their heads. Never reveal what, if anything is in the notebook, never leave it unattended. Watch what happens and smile.

This is very good advice. I actually did this inadvertenly; I got a fancy pen for my birthday and was using it during all these meetings where he, in addition to the business of the day, was making all sorts of digs and snide remarks at me.

He got nervous and had one of his flying monkeys peek over my shoulder and see what I was doing and later they commented that it was just notes and diagrams of the discussions.
