Ronald Reagan appointed Sandra Day OConnor to the Supreme Court.
The difference was, romney appointed democrats who were outspoken gay activist and for abortion. Someone did not deceive him. He knew what he was getting. He was so hypocritical about how he did it, just like today. He “says” he's appointing Conservatives, but appoints 2 homosexual activist, then tells everyone he's against gay marriage. He knew exactly what he was doing.
In his Justice Dept, HE appointed the Chief Legal Counsel who unconstitutionally implemented gay marriage WITHOUT going through the legislation. He did not have to sign gay marriage like he said. He could have said NO, you have to do it the right way, but he knew it would not pass. Because of that, Catholic hospitals were forced to give the morning after abortion pills or close shop. He also forced the Catholic Church to either let gays adopt or stop providing adoption services in MA. They stopped after 109 years.
If Reagan was the candidate this year I’d vote for him over Romney, but he isn’t running. He may have been the best President in my lifetime, but he wasn’t perfect. Not as President or as Governor of California. Concerning abortion consider the following:

If elected I expect Romney to be better than Ike, Nixon and Ford but not as good as the two Bush administrations or of course Reagan. Romney won’t do as much harm in four years as Obama in one week.
