I heard a story about a woman who lived in Africa. She was outside hanging up the laundry when a lion wandered up without her seeing it. When she turned to see it, it was right upon her and all she had was a hand towel to defend herself so she snapped the towel in the lion’s face and said “Shoo! Shoo!” until the lion decided she wasn’t food and ran away.
Surprised she didn’t use a frying pan to bang a metal serving spoon on. That makes them run faster.
Goal posts will scare away Bears too....
Bears are coming down into town because hardly any berries this year. One of my cats will hiss loudly when they come into the yard and the bears run away.
Good heavens! That woman’s screeching would scare just about anything on two or four feet. Her voice was like chalk on a blackboard.
What’s with the idiot cameraman who did the video? Doesn’t this fool know he’s dealing with a wild animal — a black bear — that could tear him limb from limb in a heartbeat? [shudder]
