From whence I got my info was seeing oswalds marksmenship score cards in fact in his 200 yd shots with an M-1 Garand without a scope, just using iron sights he grouped 2 shots in the inner ring, 6 shots in the middle ring and two more in the outer ring. That added up to a 3.9 out of a possible 4.0 score or so my former Marine uncle (who was a marine at about the same time, mid to late ‘50s) explained to me when he looked at the marksmanship card. Were not talking sniper qualifying here this was basic markmanship but not sure if this is a boot camp scorecard or a post infantry training scorecard, big difference because, if a score from boot camp that means only basic rifleman training whereas he would have gone through much more intensive training in infantry school. There are pics of his marksmanship book and score cards on the internet that can be found by googling. Do soome basic research pal. And remember that the scores will naturally rise with more training beyond that a Marine gets in boot camp, boot camp is beginners training. I would post a pic of the score card I described but I dont know how
Well people in Dallas like me, know better. You can talk about whatever bullet you want, but several eyewitnesses saw a second shooter....so....disprove that.
And it was all tied up so neatly the way Oswald was disposed of so quickly.....but I guess that was all just coincidence....yeah....that’s what is was.....
Like everything Obama wrote about himself is true....he he.
Same here. I'm convinced Oswald never fired a single shot. He was set up as a patsy by his bosses, the C.I.A., the ones who really did it. They continue to pile dirt over the grave through their hired hands such as Posner and O'Reilly as well as many who post on these threads insisting Oswald did it.
One glaring problem I've noticed is the lack of photographs showing the entire Texas School Book Depository with a rifle sticking out of the sixth floor window. Lots of film was confiscated that afternoon, much of it never to be seen again. So far, no rifle picture has surfaced. Neither has a picture surfaced showing that there wasn't a rifle either. If one showed a rifle, we would have seen it thousands of times by now. If one showed no rifle at all, well, we may never see it. Seems quite odd that no pictures have been released, except from "safe" directions as they pertain to the TSBD.
bullet travelling at approx 1200 fps
2200 fps
Typo. sorry. either way it was a high velocity projectile.
Have you read “The Tears of Autumn,” by Charles McCarry? It’s fiction but contains within its story a very satisfactory explanation about the killing of JFK. Plus, it’s a terrific read.
I’d really like to know after all your reading who you think did it. Not to argue, just interested.
Oswald did well in target practice. This was at 200 yards with open sights. In Dallas the last shot was at 68 yards with a scope. And an Australian group was able to duplicate the “Magic: bullet with almost 100% accuracy, pun intended.
I guess Williams is a Arel Spector fan. Ya that would explain it.
Wish you could figure it out ... I need the information for my archives.
Nope, wrong. First shot is theorized to have hit the tree but he had a clear shot in 1963 when the tree was shorter. The tree is a live oak and is a slow grower. The second and third shot path’s would be unhindered today.
The shot tha Oswald took at about 60 yards is an extremely shot to make. I could have that as can many of my shooting buddies. Quite an easy shot.
The “Magic Bullet” shot was duplicated by an Australian group and has been on TV. Filmed at high speed it shows this shot was completely possible.
68 yards. First time I ever shot a rifle I hit a coke can at 90 yards.
The shot has been duplicated by a professional group from Australia. It has been on TV at least twice.
Marines are trained to shoot and hit targets at 200, 300 and 500 yards/meters from a variety of positions with iron sights.
Killing Kennedy was easy for a trained marksman. Most neophytes given about two weeks of training could have pulled it off.
So why are you disappointed? It also happens to be true. Oswald was the lone gunman.
Killing Kennedy was no great feat. I would venture that given proper marksmanship training even someone with your level of acumen could have pulled it off even while wearing your tinfoil hat.
I have read little fiction concerning the JFK assassination. Mayhap in the future.
As for my conclusions regarding the assassination? I have one book being reviewed by a potential publisher and a second near completion looking for a publisher. Can’t give away the contents ...( I would say ‘plot’, but that would indicate a work of fiction. If published, critics will determine ... truth or fiction). LOL!
It just amazes me how many people continue to listen to BOR. He is nothing more than a conceited buffoon.
