Okay, here it is! The James Bond opinion survey you're wanting!
The James Bond Franchise . . . | 10/7/12 | Jim

Posted on 10/07/2012 2:24:33 PM PDT by righttackle44

I know you've been waiting for someone to ask this. Who, of the 66 bond girls so far (three girls x 22 films)should James Bond have married and settled down with?

With all due respect to Tracy--Countessa Teresa Di Vicenzo, "Tracy Draco", Bond's beloved deceased wife, played by Diana Rigg--and the un-named Kissy Suzuki, played by Mie Hama--who should be the real Mrs. Bond?

And I'm not talking about considering the acting ability of the actress playing the part, or your personal hate for her.

And you need not name only one--nothing unseemly implied here. I know some of you guys. LOL.
As for me, I see him with someone little and cute.

I can see him happily sitting on the front lawn with Jinx Johnson (Halle Berry) from Die Another Day, as they try to get their son to walk back and forth between them.

Or Kara Milovy (Maryam d'Abo) from The Living Daylights, getting James out of bed so they can go to the grocery store because she doesn't yet have her UK driver's license.

Or Manuela (Emily Bolton) from Moonraker, in bed, kissing him awake because she wants to make love again before they have to get the children off to escola.

Or Dr. Christmas Jones (Denise Richards) , The World Is Not Enough, as they shower together so she can go to work and do nuclear bomb kinds of things, and he can get to his world-wide enterprise that he actually named Universal Imports. But he must drop the twins off at daycare before getting to the office.

I thought about Anya Amasova, Triple XXX, (Barbara Bach) The Spy Who Love Me. Except I figure she'd never want to leave the spy business.

So enjoy the challenge. You KNOW you've been wanting to answer this question for decades. Thanks for doing so.

The Bond movie I always felt was most overlooked was Dalton’s License to Kill.

Pam Bouvier (Carey Lowell) would have made a very good Bond wife.

Without a doubt, Diana Rigg. She is certainly not one of many of Bond's bimbos.

My vote is the timeless Ursula Andress, or you might refer to her as Miss Undress. After all, Bond isn’t going to marry a girl for her cooking.

Despite my preference, Diana Rigg was a very good choice. I did feel bad about her death by Ernst Starvo Blofeld however.

May Day. Accept no substitutes. She wouldn't have put up with JB's cheating.

Ditto. I liked her character a lot, and she’s smoking hot.

You should be waterboarded at Gitmo for this act of terrorism.

I liked Casino Royale a lot. It’s more realistic and less hokey. I know that some older fans don’t like it for that reason though. Really looking forward to the new Bond. Hopefully it’s better than Quantum of Solace.

Yes, because I was an avid fan of The Avengers and Mrs. Peel driving her Lotus Elan, we named our daughter "Diana."
