I work in Memphis...90% of my employees are black. We meet weekly with all management. For the last almost four years they have watched their health insurance premiums go up...and it is explained to them why each time, without making it a political discussion. Oddly, politics are never overheard in the hallways.

A few months back they were told that if zero was elected and obizmal care was not repealed, they would all have to take pay cuts or worse, lose their job, as there would not be enough money coming in from our clients to pay for what this administration wants us to do...we serve clients who are all going to be going through the same ordeal we are.

The fact that politics are not discussed in the hallways is a very good thing...IMHO. These folks want their jobs.

One of the black women in my office used to bring her personal laptop computer into the office every day, set it up in her cube next to her office computer, and run a slideshow of various Obama pictures from 8 'til 5. That went on for more than three years - and it stopped the same week that Barry voiced his support for same-sex marriage. I wasn't surprised at that - she's very active in her church. A real Christian congregation, too - none of that black liberation theology crap.

I take that as a positive omen. It's tough to admit when your hero has feet of clay, but she obviously figured it out.

I asked the person who cuts my hair, who is pretty much an independent, how many people were going for Obama this year. I was told that at least 80% are very upset with him and the 20% who are still supporting him are upset that so many people are not supporting him anymore.

From my one sample there seems to be no overwhelming enthusiasm for Obama this time around.

My office is a lynch mob for Obozo and Democrats for the most part.

(shhh..I'm reporting as an embedded conservative behind enemy liberal lines in Cali)

Nothing, not a peep - last cycle there was zer0 crap plastered all over the place in private work areas. I have seen nothing inside the building. A few bumper stickers in the parking lot, but very few.

90% for Romney in my office and in fact my whole organization. We’re all govt employees and contractors in the defense community and it’s basically monolithic for Romney. We rarely talk politics because there’s no reason to. We’re all on the same page.

There are many R/R yard signs in my neighborhood, but only one 0/B...a Jewish neurosurgeon. Will they never learn?

There is one liberal in my office (black guy) so he’s hopeless. The rest us are all very conservative so we are all pretty excited to go vote.

I work for an insurance company. The gay guys and unmarried young women are still voting for Obama. Everyone else... not so much. But unlike 2008, there are no Obama bumper stickers in the parking lot - not a single one.

There are some real moonbats in my sphere, and they are mostly silent, but with a seething anger underneath for all things conservative. So except for the silent part, they are as they always are.

I try to talk Romney and Scott Brown up to others if a casual opportunity arises. Those that are conservative are either voting for Romney or against Obama. The majority of independents are leaning Romney. I know a liberal or two who are leaning Romney as well.

Those who don't pay attention to politics or get only soundbites from morning chat shows or the "nightly news"? They can spout "Bush got us into this mess" and collapse like a house of cards when questioned further. Somewhere between Dancing with the Pawn Stars and Fake Housewives of the View they will happily vote Obama because they are willfully ignorant.

I drive through large sections of Massachusetts, and I will say this. The Romney and Brown lawn signs outnumber the Obama and Warren signs in many, many areas. I will not be a bit surprised if Romney takes Massachusetts.

Two days ago, a young expecting newlywed that I work with knew I was a Republican and asked if I could get her a Romney yard sign. Last night I was able to get my hands on a few signs that I took to work today. By noon, the signs were all taken and now I have been asked to get more. However, there was one young lady (a single mother) who said she would never vote for Romney because he only favors the rich.

I asked what was wrong with being rich and she said that she would never get rich. I reminded her that one of the reasons that she didn’t think she would ever become rich is because of all the money that was taken out of her paycheck to pay taxes that is being used to give free stuff to the people who weren’t willing to work hard like she was every day.

She then said, “Well that’s why I hate politics, I just won’t vote.”

I told her that she should vote even if I didn’t agree with her choice, it is better that we all vote rather than just sit around and complain about things.

A few minutes later, she came up to me and asked if I would mind explaining to her why I was supporting Romney and we agreed to talk during a lunch break on Friday.

Not sure I can convince her, but at least she is willing to listen. So, stay tuned....

The Leftists around the office hate the right wing. So obsessed with anti-corporatism and “Bush’s fault” they can’t see that whatever they hate about the Right, the Left is guilty of tenfold.

I've noticed the liberals are very quiet...

Dead silent in my little arena. That'd be IT ga-nomes on a university campus, mostly liberal but they don't talk politics in front of much anymore because I make fun of them. Last week I had one chirp about how the economy is great because the Dow is over 13K, and I said, "It was twelve five under Bush and gasoline was $1.80. Glad your stock portfolio can cover the increase." Haven't heard a word since then.

But yeah, nobody is saying much. Even the guy who used to twit me about Sarah Palin has shut the hell up. What are they going to defend? Their demigod turned out to be a pompous jerk with a posse of swooning morons. I'm not even sure they want him to win. They don't want the responsibility.

The one ponytail lib in the office hasn’t put an Obama bumper sticker on his car yet, though he had a 2008 sticker way back when. Nobody is swooning at the TV in the breakroom when Obama’s on anymore. On Inauguration Day, lots of folks were in the breakroom watching with big smiles on their faces. Those same faces were pretty crestfallen when Obamamcare passed. And people have been disappointed since.
