Per Twitter: Romney moving 60 staffers to PA
Twitter | 10/20/2012 | LS

Posted on 10/20/2012 6:57:36 PM PDT by LS

According to twitter, Romney team moving 60 more people to PA. But here are the other two interesting Twitter posts: Obama starting to release internal #s on PA---desperation firewall move? Then this: someone (apparently doing "down ticket" polling in OH reported and I quote "VERY good numbers for Romney in OH." I would guess that the only statewide (as opposed to regional) polling would be for Mandell, but that wasn't clear.

At any rate, put these tidbits together and it sounds like both Romney and Obama know the real story about OH and that the battle is shifting to PA. Just my take.

It will be difficult due to Philly and Pittsburgh Democrat robo-voters, but I see more Romney signs in front yards here in suburban Philly than I ever saw for either Bush or McCain.

I have friends who voted for Obama who are voting Romney. Still, it may not be enough to overcome the Philly/Pittsburgh robo-voters and voter fraud.

With voter ID, fraud will be more difficult to commit.

A judge disallowed voter ID for this election.

Very good numbers from Ohio and a move to PA.unless things are going badly out west it seems that PA might not even be necessary...unless Romney's plan is to distract Baraq.

Excellent. I read a few pieces today that show the polls in Ohio are dramatically under-sampling whites and over-sampling Democrats. This election will not even be close. The left’s desperation is palatable.

Is there a link to this Twitter post on Mitt moving people back into PA? Fascinating if true.

Always make your enemy fight on as many fronts as possible. It forces him to spread his resources thin.

Nothing the left does is palatable. But their desperation is palpable.

I read something today that you, as an historian, will really appreciate.

It is in Mark Helprin’s latest novel, set in NYC post WWII. The protagonist is recalling how in the final months the Americans were moving through Germany, quite literally taking over the country. They would go into restaurants, pay in dollars and the owners would very gladly and eagerly take the dollars. He noted that at that point, they truly knew they had won.

The Romney campaign sort of feels like that now to me. They haven’t truly “won” yet...but they are taking the land, moving inexorably across the map. They are winning, and they are going to win (and we are going to win with them).

In any event...thought you’d sort of appreciate that. Obviously Helprin is much more eloquent, but hopefully the point is clear enough.....

I’m in Pa and, while I’m more confident than I’ve ever been, there’s always that worry about Philly in particular. I’m afraid of the rug being pulled out from under us here again. OTOH, I too am seeing far more Romney signs than Obama and it bodes well that in the senate race, Republican Tom Smith is giving Obama butt-kisser, Bob Casey a run for his money. I want to see Pa RED this time!!!

Very interesting. I thought you were going to relate the story of how the Brits infiltrated our polling organizations to rig polls to get us into the war in Europe.
