>>>Your dollar amounts started about 8 hours ago. Explain that.

I'll explain it when I can make sense of your post.

You are quite a young one. Explain to me my RADAR’s refractive index and why it would matter? ? ?

Let me know if you actually have a forcast job. Scaring people for a living is bullshit.

I can just see it now . . . By Wednesday, the news will break to “where’s my free $h%t”. D.C., N.Y., Philly, etc will get more free stuff after being declared a disaster area by the Administration. New Orleans(Katrina) won’t have nothing on this one. Not to mention the inner-city crime that goes with it. Of course, the “Savior” in the WH will see to their needs. May as well add another trillion to the national debt. You’ll see.

NYC transit has stopped, I imagine this powerful storm has knocked out your sense of communication.

I don’t think I have called anyone names.

If people want to bend over and take Hurricane Sandusky, they can go ahead.

As soon as the storm is over people will clean up and others will be passing out blankets, meals and coffee and helping to rebuild. This is NORMAL, this is what happens in this country.

What we need to do is rename The Romney/Ryan political tours to associate it with gathering aid for the hurricane victims. The liberals will explode over that. I’ve been trying to think of a good name of the tour so that whenever I tweet their appearances I will add the catchy phrase in the title of the articles.

I know. I realized that as I read on. Have a good day....stay dry. It is very windy and rainy in Annapolis. Work was called off tomorrow for me and most everyone in Maryland. They even closed all the Wa-Wa’s in Maryland.....

"People are going to die"

(people die everyday)

I rest my case. You are without a doubt, one of the biggest buffoons on this website - proven by your statement above. You've added nothing to this conversation but irritation and drama. You're a net drag on an otherwise adult discussion, GeronL.

I can only wonder if you'll still be here snickering when the casualty reports start coming in. What a miserable excuse for a human being you are.

NYC transit stopped because the mayor ordered it to stop. Not because of damage that had been caused.

fyi,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_Katrina

The storm rapidly intensified after entering the Gulf, growing from a Category 3 hurricane to a Category 5 hurricane in just nine hours. This rapid growth was due to the storm's movement over the "unusually warm" waters of the Loop Current, which increased wind speeds.[10] On Saturday, August 27, the storm reached Category 3 intensity on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale, becoming the third major hurricane of the season. An eyewall replacement cycle disrupted the intensification, but caused the storm to nearly double in size. Katrina again rapidly intensified, attaining Category 5 status on the morning of August 28 and reached its peak strength at 1800 UTC that day, with maximum sustained winds of 175 mph (280 km/h) and a minimum central pressure of 902 mbar (26.6 inHg). The pressure measurement made Katrina the fourth most intense Atlantic hurricane on record at the time, only to be surpassed by Hurricanes Rita and Wilma later in the season; it was also the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Gulf of Mexico at the time. However, this record was later broken by Hurricane Rita.[3]

Hey, I suggested that the storm could hit off the predicted target and these so called “scientists” like the ones who told us that there will be no radiation leaks after the Tsunami tried to claim that I actually said “Obama created the hurricane story and it really does not exist” even though I spent the last day and a half preparing for the storm.

I haven’t argued with anyone about what is happening, I am trying to tell people to calm down. Apparently some just want to run around in circles cawing about it.

It is a storm that is going to do what storms do.

We’ve been here before. It is not the first storm ever.

Nothing we write on this forum is going to affect it one bit. I just refuse to act like it is the biggest deal the world has ever seen.

when you build a city in a bathtub and water starts coming over the side...you flood to your rooftops.

N.O. wasn't a bathtub when it was established as a city, if you knew anything about history, you'd at least know that...

True, It all gets boiled into the monetary hit.

Think about it. Nobody on this planet could figure that loss.

I know.

All I am doing is trying to get people to be calm and rational. They seem to want to believe this is the biggest deal ever (BFD as Biden would say)... evah!!

Apparently we have never had a natural disaster before.
