I tuned into the CNN program about Romney about 15 minutes after it started, about the same time as you posted this thread. I couldn’t disagree with you more. I did not see this as a hit piece at all. I think it reflected quite favorably on him. Sure, there were a few disgruntled voices to provide balance, but on the whole, it seemed to be a very fair and measured program. And there were many admirers of Romney who had worked with him speaking of his concerned and effective work methods. I think it was a real plus.
I agree I almost thought it was an hour campaign commercial for Romney. A few zingers like “wealthy suburb” or “elite prep school” but I felt about a lot better about voting for Romney. He even talked about Jesus as the Son of G-d, and Jesus as his personal Savior.
