Let’s go with the Iraqi election system...you appear in person, dip your index finger in indelible ink, and then get a PAPER BALLOT. Nothing is 100% fool-proof, but that is as close as it gets.
I turned in my ballot at another precinct. This was the first time I didn’t vote the day of election. We used to have the punch machines, but now have the connect the arrows. AZ is a voter Id State. I have NO PROBLEM showing my ID. When I turned in my ballot, I asked the guy manning the bins to either place provisional in or mail if he wanted to see my ID. Guess for the mail in’s, the testament on the envelope is enough. My kids could have dropped it off. A little unnerving. One of the wacko-moveon.orgies here in AZ has started a petition to “count all the votes in AZ”. I’m sure she was thinking about the Military votes (sarcasm).
