The country is not like it was either, regardless of the core values which must not be abandoned. Like saying “amnesty” and the plain foolishness of the RINO leadership in supplying the answers from the democrat apparatchiks.

Current leadership is doomed to remain minority— like Bob Michel the textbook case of a “useful idiot”. Rush saw this coming each time, and each time (when you look at the total delivered message over time)and at a cut point each time, had to modulate with RINOs he cannot stand. Look what the dems are saying to our stupid leadership— and they are stupid enough to repeat it and take on the meme. They are IDIOTS, and high priced at that. And in the case of the “numbers”— are they real numbers or fabricated. If 11 million people didn’t vote that did last time- no model could have predicted that...and NO poll if they were fraudulent to begin with or real and un-reachable. None of this would matter if we had an informed electorate— not one informed by govt. schools and teacher’s union falsehoods in curriculum of our history and govt, and the acceptance of a Statist system.

There is a lot to be done to keep from being an irrelevant party. The candidate was wrong again despite many great qualities , but the opponent is even more anti-country/Constitution than we have ever known, with the goal of power at any cost and the complete ignorance of our Constitution—a dictator. It has to be continual consistent direct opposition, with positive productive alternatives that speak to true human nature— not wanting to be slaves to the all caring government. States Rights, defeat obamacare (and stop calling it that, by the way). Take back the Senate, repealing 17th Amendment-bring the control of 1/2 of one branch of our govt. back down to local control. And by this, more direct input into approval of foreign policy, treaties, and Supreme Court. Otherwise we are headed to irrelevance and totalitarian new world order (Bush I).

I agree and disagree with you. the current R congressional leadership has no idea how to lead and failed. They should have been replaced after 2008.

But Rush is a different problem. I don't know what his motives really are but he gives the worst advice.

Take the debt limit fight last year. Rush was saying that voters want the government shut down, in spite of what happened in 1995. So some Republican fools in congress started saying in public “Yes, shut it down” making sure their side would lose a standoff.

By the time they realized as in 1995 that most voters dont want a shutdown, and instead that the way to win was to paint Obama as shutting it down, it was too late.

Once again after making those wrong moves and playing into Dems hands again, little was left but to surrender again.

Nope, Rush is a compass who always points in the wrong direction.

Lastly, Republican power losses help his $$$$ business. The hopeless seek those who say what they want to hear.
