CNN's Piers Morgan is upset over a petition at the White House web site calling for his deportation, Twitchy reported Saturday.
"Ironic U.S. gun rights campaign to deport me for 'attacking 2nd Amendment rights' - is my opinion not protected under 1st Amendment rights?" he tweeted.
The petition, created on Friday, cites his relentless attacks on the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
"British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment," the petition reads. "We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens."
The petition was started by "Kurt N" of Austin, Tex. and already has over 8,900 signatures. A threshold of 25,000 signatures is required for White House action. The Blaze identified the petition creator as possibly being "Kurt Nimmo of the website infowars.com."
Morgan, who is a British citizen, has repeatedly attacked the NRA and members of the gun lobby since the tragic Newtown school shootings. In a recent exchange, he berated an advocate of gun rights as "stupid."
Twitchy, a web site that dubbed the CNN talk show host "Musket Morgan," said the anti-Second Amendment pundit is "beside himself over this assault on his First Amendment rights."

I do not support the idea that the Constitution applies to foreigners, that would be colonialism!!
Treat him like a domestic enemy. But then again, that may mean becoming a bureaucrat.

Hey Piers, you don’t get to pick and choose which rights you recognize. It’s kind of an all or nothing proposition and you picked nothing - so deal with it.

Perhaps Mr. Morgan needs to brush up a bit on American History. Americans weren’t happy with the british telling us how to run our internal affairs in 1776 and I don’t suspect that is any more popular now than it was then.
Oh Noes! Piers is unhappy, well now my Christmas is ruined! I know what will cheer me up, I’ll go buy some guns. Thank god we live in America not Englandstan. If he does not like our Constitution why the frack did he move here. I think this petition is just doing him a favor pointing out the error he made moving here and helping him see how much happier he would be in good old safe England.
The rights are inalienable. They belong to all, not just citizens.
I’m dismayed that such a petition exists.
Turnabout may, however, be fair play - so long as it’s just rhetoric and neither right gets violated.

The left thinks it OK to circumscribe, limit, modify, interpret (etc) the plain meaning of the 2nd Amendment by way of statutes, regulations, and court rulings, but the 1st Amendment is hallowed ground: absolute and infallible, never to be questioned or challenged in any manner whatsoever.

Kudlow on his Saturday night 12/22/12 show allowed Musket Morgen fire off rounds of off smoke asserting the ease of purchasing assult weapons,which Kudlow didn’t challange or correct at any point during the period Morgen appeared as a guest on Kudlow’s talkie.
Unless Kudlow lives under a rock it’s been reliably reported the guns were legally obtained and went through the series of Connecticut hoops and that the weapons were stolen. Kudlow played the whores game probably hoping for a guest spot on Piers show. And that’s the way the game is played kiddies
We need to have him deported. There is no intrinsic right for a foreigner to enter the United States without our permission. His attacks on our Constitution and our liberties make him an enemy combatant, in league with Al-Qaeda, and therefore, we should deport him to...Afghanistan, Iran, or Gaza.
