I’ll most likely be dropping party affiliation and registering Independent sometime this month.
I registered as an Independent back in 2007 and have thought it was the right move ever since.
I will change my registration tomorrow.
Switch, its what the MSM and the Liberals want you to do. Its Divide and Conquer. They want a one party system!!!! They know a 3rd party would weaken the Republicans even more, its a win win for them. They want only the 3 branches of Gov’t controlled by them. Think its bad now? WAIT!
Yes.
But I’m writing my conservative congressman that if Boehner continues as Speaker I will support a primary or third-party candidate against him (my congressman).
Do not have to register in my State. Have not considered myself a Republican for a while though.
What a bunch of blow hards. Had you won the damn presidential election we wouldn’t have to be dealing with this. Stop complaining and win.
That depends, either the GOP immediately replaces Boehnor with someone who has a f***ing nutsack, or I’m gone.
You own this. And yes, you are on the paper list of liberal republicans that I keep near the computer, so I can keep track of all you (redacteds).

LOL, never was GOP. For the past 6 years, I dropped them. Just contribute to individual PAC’s. You’ll feel better..
Yeah, I’m going either Libertarian or Independent. The GOP obviously doesn’t want me.
Last time I checked, a majority of Republicans voted against it. It was a minority of R’s that crossed over with the Dems to put it over the top.

“No” votes are almost exclusively Republicans.
I’ve been voting for decades and I know nothing about any party “registration”.
I think I am going to finally call the bullet and reregister tomorrow.
I stopped voting GOP when they pushed Mitt n us. I was a bit touch and go before that, ut that was the last straw. I saw this type of thing coming after that. They will keep doing it. They purged Conservatives. And, sadly, we hold no sway over them because we ALWAYS fall in line.
No more. I’ve had enough. The rot is fully set in the GOP. It has to be destroyed in order to rebuild it. This is just like 1930 again when the GOP had just lost the House and started its slide into the political wilderness, and then had to suffer through the FDR debacle.
Yes. I plan to switch, as well and am talking to my better half about their doing it, too.
BUT...don’t do it without alerting your brain-dead congresscritters as to WHY you are doing it. THEY need to realize the consequences of THEIR actions as it pertains to those of us they erroneously say they are “representing”.
Personally, I say we document addresses of those who pretend to represent us, those whose salaries we pay, so we can easily contact them with our complaints in black and white.
It’s a compromise. no need to get frustrated and make it look like a victory for obama.
I didn’t leave the Republican Party - the Republican Party left me.
I'm done with 'em.
