Smoking isn’t banned from TV shows or movies. There was a push by some group to make any movie with smoking automatically R, but it never gained traction. There’s a lot less smoking in them now, but that’s really a function of society, where there is also a lot less smoking.
Maybe in the states, and Europe.
But worldwide, I'm pretty sure the numbers are record breaking!
