What bothers me is he could have just walked up there in slacks and sang. he has a good, professional voice.
From here until the end is it “are we voting the singing or the story?”
We all here have had adversity — some great adversity. We didn’t pimp it to get ahead.
And if this guy wins (doubtful), the whispers will be “your story won — your talent in 3rd or 4th place.”
The story would be more impressive if released AFTER the competition completes or he is eliminated.
