Having worked in the developing and underdeveloped world my entire career..I can honestly say that aid never lifted countries out of poverty. Free enterprise and capitalism did. Countries that freed up their economies and reduced govt control and corruption prosper.
Foreign aide, the taking of money from poor people in rich countries and giving it to rich people in poor countries.
