Well if they’d study and not miss any questions then they wouldn’t feel shouted at.

These “researchers” from the University of Colorado would certainly not get a good grade for RESEARCH from me. Grade and instructor comments would be in RED... written with a permanent marker.

Oh please! If they’d been using purple all these years, they’d be blaming purple.

Colorado University is a clone of the vast majority of our universities in that departments that are not STEM related quite simply have laughable standards.

Want a CU example?

Ward Churchill...professor...department chair...no discernible IQ, morality, or creativity...with a Master’s Degree in Underwater Basket Lying. Yes, he was fired, but only after much controversy.

QED.

Drudge had a story up recently about how much kids think of themselves today and their high expectation after high school and college.

...give 'em all trophies, no losers, no winners.

Then the real-world reality bites them in the butt and they can't cope.

Use the red pen to write EXCELLENT WORK on the kids paper (when the work truly rtaes it) and really confuse those moronic researchers!

Wouldn’t self-esteem that flowed from actual knowledge and achievement be better than the false self-esteem established by inflating their ego with false premises?

Not the cursed “red” pen thing again! I seem to remember some years back that teachers, no, indoctrinators, were advised that grading papers and using a “red pen” could have negative effects on the poor little students. Maybe a good butt kickin’ on whoever started that load of garbage (or jharbage as jon f’n kerry might say) would have helped instead. Spill a little red “ink” so to speak.
Thank you dr.spock. And I’m not talkin’ Star Trek. Self esteem issues my butt!

Hard to get your panties in a wad if you’re wearin’ a thong!

Imagine how the bull feels when it has to charge a red cape.
A change to chartreuse may be warranted.

Back when I went to school, what you did if you didn’t want to see red ink on your assignments you made sure you did them correctly. This of course was back when self-esteem was earned by hard work.
