Ashley Anne Riggitano a New York fashionista, jumped to her dead from the George Washington Bridge on her 22nd birthday.

Ashley Anne Riggitano, a New York fashionista, jumped to her death from the George Washington Bridge on Wednesday, after a heated Facebook argument with her best friend.

Riggitano, 22, allegedly was on Aderall and Klonopin when she jumped into the Hudson River at 4:40 p.m. on Jan. 6, which also happened to be her birthday, the Daily Mail reported.

According the several reports, Riggitano had gotten into a Facebook fight with her good friend Alison Tinari, who allegedly wrote her a post that's being considered as a contributing factor in the suicide.

“Go try to kill yourself on Xanax again, you unstable loser. Go xx yourself and never speak to me again.” The fashionista left a handwritten note found in her Louis Vuitton bag on the bridge. In the note, she stated that her "friends" were never there and were only interested in gossip. She also singled out four people she wanted excluded from her funeral.

A source has identified the four as Teresa Castaldo, Beth Bassil, Victoria Van Thunen and Samantha Horneff, Fox News reported.

Van Thunen was Riggitano’s business partner at Missfits, a jewelry-design business.

Reports indicate this wasn't the first time Riggitano attempted to commit suicide. Prescription drugs Adderall, used to treat ADHD, and Klonopin, an anti-panic drug, were also found in her bag.

Designer Alex Woo who employed Riggitano part-time said she appeared happy and was liked by everyone.

I don’t think I would have gone there, myself...

While I despise what little valued lifestyle she may have had, I can’t say that. I sit here with the experience of having had a daughter that came so awfully close to going down that same worthless road. Thank God she changed and now has a good husband and three beautiful daughters and is a joy to be around.

I see cases like this and I count my lucky stars.

Pretty disgusting comment. Only Laz can say things like this, I think.

The death of a Realdoll(tm).

In another life, she would live in a trailer park, have her first child at 16, and three by the age of 22, married to a guy who repairs cars, and be happy.

Klonopin is very nasty stuff. Of the Benzodiazepines (Valium, Xanax, Klonopin), it’s my experience that Klonopin has the most potential for abuse/addiction, and the worst side effects.

One death is a tragedy, one million deaths a statistic. We are an over-medicated society, and this woman’s end, however tragic or not you wish to view it, is just another statistic.

Somebody sure was all wrapped up in herself, wasn’t she? Oh well, at least she left a good looking corpse.

“Klonopin is nasty stuff.”

Indeed. Extremely addictive. Completely sick to refer to it as an “anti-panic drug” since the panic that it wards off is simply the withdrawal symptoms caused by the drug itself wearing off. Calling Klonopin an “anti-panic drug” is like saying Heroin is an anti-withdrawal-symptom medication.

About a month earlier, Riggitano initiated an ugly, two-day exchange with Tinari that led to the Xanax suicide comment.

The fight stemmed from Tinari’s ongoing friendship with Riggitano’s boyfriend, aspiring race-car driver Drew Heissenbuttel.

“It’s really horrible what happened. I feel really bad for her family. It’s crazy. I feel really bad for her. I never went after her; she went after me,” a remorseful Tinari told The Post yesterday, adding that she didn’t even know Riggitano before the exchange.

Gaffer I have been there also with two of my daughters. Suicide is such a sad thing no matter who the person is.
This young girl had her whole life a head of her and cut her life short.
Prayers for her family.

Don't you fret about Mr. Carioca himself. Remember, I'm the
guy who's life is centered around Quiet thoughts and quiet
dreams, quiet walks by quiet streams. And a window looking
on the mountains and the sea, how lovely.

And I enjoy some dark humor as much as the next fellow, but there are boundaries.

If her doctor had given her more drugs this probably wouldn’t have happened.

Ashley started her own business called The Missfits where she hand crafted jewelry made out of semi precious gemstones with her best friend Victoria Van Thunen. “We are two Jersey girls who grew up one poof of Tinkerbell’s fairy dust from culturally rich NYC,” the Missfits Web site reads. “And although we hail from the Garden State, it is Manhattan that we will always call home.”

Why did you interpret the comment “I could of used her”, now, I see, removed by the censor of political correctness, as was your reply, and as I anticipate this comment will be, why did you interpret it they way you did, whatever that way was? It was vague enough, he could have used her as a fashion designer, say.
