GENEVA (AP) - Physicists said Thursday they are now confident they have discovered a crucial subatomic particle known as a Higgs boson - a major discovery that will go a long ways toward helping them explain why the universe is the way it is.
They made the statement following study of the data gathered last year from the world's largest atom-smasher, which lies beneath the Swiss-French border outside Geneva. The European Organization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, said that what they found last year was, indeed, a version of what is popularly referred to as the "God particle."

Yes, but since this is an expository article, and not a persuasive one, you have to ignore it if you want to find out about the particle.
Whatever is found in nature is just the evidence of God’s work. Some particle is not responsible for giving anything mass. The particle, if it exists, is just the residue of God’s process (His Word). The leaves don’t create the wind, they’re just evidence of wind. When Scientist (or more likely the media and academics) dig deep into atom, electrons, or whatever, they say they’ve found a creator. Actually, they’ve only found the creation within minute subdivisions.
For by Him (the Lord Jesus Christ) ALL THINGS WERE CREATED, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—ALL THINGS have been created through Him and for Him.

Men will never find the Higgs boson particle until and unless they come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ because He IS the person who is holding all of this together by the power of His might.

I applaud, and so does scripture, people who fully study God’s creation. Pro 25:2 “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”
It should serve to impress us with God’s attention to detail. However, Pop-science seems to be either fixed on furthering the atheist agenda, or discrediting God’s Word by distorting His creative process. 2Ti 3:7 “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
What you say reminds me of what one scientist said fairly recently about using functional MRI to record brain activity in real time: “The tool is just good enough to let us know that it isn’t good enough to tell us what we want to know.” I love it when the nature and the God confound scientists. They should love it too! That’s what makes it interesting. Beware any scientist that seems to have all the answers. Follow the scientist who realizes that the more we know the more there is to know.

MRI’s measure brain activity or objects present. The human brain is merely an interface between the physical body and the soul. Looking at brain activity to determine consciousness activity is much like looking at a speaker to determine what music is playing. It can give you a general idea by watching the base and tweeter patterns, but it is far from the actual message communicated.
I found that I can read the stored memories directly in the soul where they are stored, processed and retrieved rather than just stopping at the anchor point in the physical body. Memories are no more stored in the physical body that the music you hear from a radio is stored in the radio!
I have found that the energy emanating from my hands functions much the same as an MRI, revealing differential densities inside a person’s body without me ever touching them. I’m pretty accurate at locating brain tumors and identifying the nervous system impact and peripheral damage without ever touching a person. I’ve been told many times that it is as though I am reading their medical records when I describe what I feel. Nice part of it is, I do not need to inject toxic contrasting chemicals to get results.
PS... I am a scientist.
