So I just noticed today that a few of my "Facebook friends" more like 2 people I haven't spoken to in twenty years, had those stupid gay marriage red equality signs up. I defriended them all, anyone else have the same thing happen?
I did just that. I changed my profile picture to a simple black cross with a blue background. It kind of looks like the equal sign bars have been rearranged to make a cross. It also fits for Holy Week. Also, there are not as many as these people would like us to believe there are. I have about 70 friends, and I think 3 have the equal signs. Everyone else that I can access their friends list that have at least 100 friends have only 4 of them. Not exactly overwhelming numbers.

I’m glad it isn’t only me. I’m only on Facebook mostly because of family and close friends but I have many friends and family that post mostly dog links. I have dogs and cats and love them all but it’s getting on my nerves.

horrible - it started last night - it seems to be the majority of the contacts I have. I don’t even have time to defriend that any people - will probably just do it to the ones who are not actually personal friends.
I did post one or two statements about Facebook mind control and illiterate conformist sloganeering.

Yeah I noticed but I cant and would never “de-friend” my sweet nieces. They sent me ginger bread cookies for Christmas.

I was called “sad” today by an elderly aunt because i posted that i had unfriended people who weren’t just pro gay marriage but anti bible and anti christian. i guess i’m sad.

Most of my FB friends are in their mid 20’s to early 30’s. Only a few changed their profile pic. Even fewer dared to defend it if questioned. One called opponents “closed minded hateful bigots.” I asked them if I was a hateful bigot for having a different opinion. They never answered, just defrinded me.
It is a way to destroy the church. To make government the supreme one.....the answer to all our problems.
yep... was called a bigot who hates gays all day long today. by a frigging granny who has spent the last 35 years quoting bible verses like she was the most christian of people. instead i found out that the conservative christian of yesterday is now a flaming liberal gay rights drum beater and why? Because someone very close to her has come out of the closet!
