By comparison, some people use only a one-step process to get food (food stamps).

I’ve observed a lot of crows and they are definitely smart. However, Ravens are smarter.

Nearly all Corbids, of which crows are a member are astonishingly intelligent.
They possess language and exhibit behaviors that make even the smartest dog look stupid in comparison.

Yes they are.
In general, I think animals are smarter than humans because human have gotten mentally lazy (Think Holder's/Obama's people).
If and when an animal gets sloppy...they end up on the menu.
This is the same reason why some men like dangerous professions and avocations...they are more alive when their lives are hanging in the balance.
Thx to Obama, Conservatives, Christians, and Jews around the world are now living more interesting, more vibrant lives.
We are an endangered species.

You can call in crows and shoot some of them, and you might even call them back again, but as soon as they figure out what is happening you will never call them again.
Not even 10 years later.

Amazing video. I’ve seen ravens and Canada jays do some pretty amazing things out in the wild. You have to keep your eye on your camping gear when those buggers are around!

Crows can be temporary guests in your neighborhood but somebody has to be feeding them. They’re not bothered by kids...a little kid can walk along the sidewalk and given a stick or something, tap it on the ground, the crow will walk along with the kid but when another crow sees that and flies down on...they both fly off and maybe later one of them will come back for more, especially if you call them by name. However, they remember but they’ll always go back to being what they are. Enjoy the fact that this or that crow seemed to make friends with that kid for however long.

Crows are interesting characters and they are probably not as harmful as some farmers think but I have personally seen them carrying off baby birds in their beaks.
I shoot them and feel no regrets in doing so.

When I was a child someone gave my dad a baby crow. We raised it and it lived in a big cage until it was grown. Then we started letting it out of it's cage during the day and it stayed around in our yard and was a great pet. His name was Roscoe and he learned to say a couple of words. Mostly he said “hello mama” when anyone came out the back door. Roscoe started roaming farther from home and began attacking children walking home from school, walking along and pecking their feet and flying at their heads. After some parents complained, my dad gave him to someone who lived out in the country and I never saw Roscoe again.

One of my old supervisors at my place of work didn’t like crows hanging around his yard. One time he sprayed a bunch of them with his water hose. After that, when he’d go outside, the crows would quit making noise and eye him suspiciously. He swears he saw the crows dive-bombing i.e. crapping on his house in retaliation for being sprayed with water.
