Oh man. We lived in Vermillion one year. Hated it! Snowed in October and stayed on the ground till end of June. After the first snow, it never melted till late spring.
Snow piled up high on both sides of the roads, and drifted up to the windows on the trailer. I went out to the mailbox one morning and the snow was up to the bottom of the box.
Just as I reached in to get the mail, I broke through the crust and sunk in up to my shoulders almost.
Missouri winter sure looked great after that.LOL
