Reports are coming out of Syria of multiple large explosions.
Syrian report: Israel bombs outskirts of Damascus for second time in recent days
Israeli warplanes bombed the outskirts of Damascus early Sunday for the second time in recent days, according to Syrian state media and reports from activists, signaling a sharp escalation in tensions between the neighboring countries that had already been exacerbated by the conflict raging in Syria.
Videos posted on the Internet by activists showed a huge fireball erupting on Mount Qassioun, a landmark hill overlooking the capital on which the Syrian government has deployed much of the firepower it is using against rebel-controlled areas surrounding the city.

Seems like an unwise move at the moment as he fights the rebels. Unless it is to somehow to get them, along with Iran, etc. behind him. “The enemy of my enemy is my friend” type thing.

I hope that the reports of a tactical nuke are mistaken. Just looked like a huge secondary explosion as one might expect of hitting an ammo dump. I think a nuke at this stage of the game would put too much pressure against Israel.

No kidding. One can clearly see the initial explosion, then the big one quickly following, and then almost exactly 10 seconds later, the sound of the blast arrives, meaning the vid was shot from about two miles away.
Do we have any weaponry / explosives experts here who could give rough estimate of the size of that explosion (lbs. of TNT)?

Now is the time to finish off Syria before it falls to the Radical Muslim Brotherhood and their ilk. If Assad tries anything-—roll in the tanks in a strike to seize Damascus and bring them liberty. AND Take Lebanon too! Drive out the Islamic dogs and let Christians Rule.
And who do you think is going to take over in Syria if Assad falls? It will be the Muslim Brotherhood.
