Well, that certainly convinced me. Scientists derided the Wright brothers so they’re wrong about cold fusion too! Makes perfect sense.
Meanwhile, the E-cat failed its first big test outside Rossi’s lab. No surprise there.

I have always liked Celente but I do not know his track record.
He is sometimes a guest on Kook to Kook, but that may be a negative for his credibility.
Has he met ET?

Not aother self promoting huckster! "Gerald Celentes Dire Predictions For 2012 By majestic on December 20, 2011 in News 48 disinfo.com/2011/12/gerald-celentes-dire-predictions-for-2012/ "Gerald Celente of Trends Research International has a habit of predicting nasty events before they happen. He just emailed us his selection of 12 things wed rather not see in 2012: One megatrend looms on the near horizon. And we forecast that when it strikes, it will be a shock felt around the world. Hyperbole its not! Our research has revealed that at the very highest levels of government this megatrend has been seriously discussed. Read on:.................................. 11. Alternative Energy 2012: Even under the cloud of Fukushima, the harnessing of nuclear power is being reinvigorated by a fuel that is significantly safer than uranium and by the introduction of small, modular, portable reactors that reduce costs and construction time. In addition, there are dozens of projects underway that explore the possibility of creating cleaner, competitively priced liquid fuels distilled from natural sources. Plan to start saying goodbye to conventional liquid fuels!" That pretty well covers all bases. After he also predicted the stock market would vary up and down.

To me, at this time, alternative energy is the holy grail of civilization
To any thinking man it is. The realization of unlimited non polluting energy would after a while bring and end to wars..this guy is right. Gov’ts would soon learn the advantages of making the deserts bloom or building vast hydroponic crop producing edifices in deserts. Plenty of a/c, heat, food and entertainment for all. (this would make a great ‘TED TALK’ topic!) There would be almost no limit to what individuals could produce, own or be afforded. Let’s GET WITH IT!

Whether its infinite energy, or the economy or geopolitics, people have belief systems, and its very hard to break out of them, so they have a very narrow vision of the future, says Celente. The term "infinite energy" sets off the kook detector.

Which is precisely why governments will oppose any truly viable alternate form of energy.

Looking back from Galileo to the Wright brothers to Wegener and his theory of continental drift, all through the history of science, theres a sequence of breakthrough discoveries that are automatically dismissed and derided by the establishment of the day.Parallel construction:
Great artists such as Van Gogh are often not recognized as such by their contemporaries. My art is not beloved of my contemporaries. Therefore I am a great artist.

He has it out for military spending however most leaps in technology are funded by just that. The biggest single user of oil is the US military and much of the sensible research is funded by them:
