Can Cruz run for President?
"Government officials didnt exactly have to scramble for the information amid speculation the firebrand freshman senator was contemplating a presidential run and might be ineligible, considering similar questions about President Obamas birth prompted the Congressional Research Office to compile a 2009 report to try to resolve the issue.
The 14-page report by the non-partisan offices legislative attorney Jack Maskell essentially states the Constitution sets out three eligibility requirements to be president: one must be at least 35, a resident within the United States for 14 years and a natural born citizen.
The report states "the weight of scholarly legal and historical opinion appears to support the notion that 'natural born citizen' means one who is entitled under the Constitution or laws of the United States to U.S. citizenship 'at birth' or 'by birth,' including
those born abroad of one citizen parent who has met U.S. residency requirements."

Considering my GOP Senator (Marco La Raza Rubio) was last seen dancing with the Hispanic Ku Klux Klan after passing Amnesty in committee....I am more than willing to trade for Cruz. Any takers?

If a Kenyan citizen with Muslim Brotherhood ties can figure out how to get elected to the White House, I’m sure Ted Cruz is smart enough to find a way to run for President. Besides, he’s a U.S. Constitution scholar.

Can't blame him, really:
-
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers... [Rand Paul calls on conservatives to embrace immigration reform]
- ...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften war stance]
-
One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v. Wade... [Geraldo Rivera declares himself a 'moderate Republican' as he eyes U.S. Senate run]

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said Wednesday that he doesnt trust members of his own party to negotiate a budget conference report.
Cruz's remark came after Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he thought it was bizarre that a member of his own party was objecting to forming a conference committee with the House to work out a budget. McCain said the objections suggested Senate Republicans didnt trust House Republicans to hold the party line in negotiations.
Isnt it a little bizarre, this whole exercise? McCain said after Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) objected to going to conference. What were saying is that we dont trust our colleagues on the other side of the Capitol.
Cruz responded that he doesn't trust Republicans. The senior senator of Arizona urged senators to trust House Republicans ... and frankly, I dont trust Republicans,
Cruz said. Its the leaders of both parties that got us in this mess. ... A lot of Republicans were complicit in this spending spree.
Senator Cruz ROCKS!

My Senator is Republican David Vitter. He's up there with Cruz as far as being conservative. The other senator is democcrat/communist Mary Landrue and this witch voted for Obamacare and for the UN to take away our 2nd amendment rights.
What Vitter is trying now is to get rid of free Obamaphones, another corrupt entitlement from the socialists/democrats. the media ignores him like they ignored Tom Tancredo.

Vitter is a fighter and landrieu is a succubus from hell... I remember her and blanco refusing help from Bush after Katrina and then through their gross incompetence... blew everything that they touched and then blamed Bush. She needs to be left in the basin as gator food.
